Fresh food prepared to order. Lunch every day but Monday. Dinner every night. Waterside backBAR open every night at 5pm for drinks. Live music every Saturday night. On the water, outdoor seating at lunch. Dinner reservations recommended.
The menu is contemporary seafood and land. The portions are good size. I had the crab cakes and they were delicious. My mother had the pork chops with Mac and cheese both were done perfectly. The special flounder sashimi was delicious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. The eight of us were squeezed onto two small tables and I had to deal with the crack. The food is expensive but good. My reason for 4 dots is that our waiter was not friendly almost grumpy even though very accommodating.

We spent 3 nights in Duck. During a day of exploring we decided to try Aqua for lunch and SO glad we did. We arrived not long after they opened and were seated at a table overlooking the sound. Great view. The restaurant is beautifully appointed, some interesting art work, very different and lovely. Bathrooms clean and eye appealing. Our server was polite, helpful and great personality. We both ordered the crab cakes which were excellent, very little filler with jumbo lumps of crab. My bloody Mary was also good. Their menu is varied so something for everyone. Prices are resonable and in line with the high quality of the food. If in Duck again we will definitely return to Aqua. Highly recommend it.Thank you so much for Dining with us and so glad you enjoyed yourself. We look forward to seeing you again and thanks for the great review.

Gourmet Market turned restaurant featuring fresh local seafood, steaks, crabcakes to die for, creative sandwiches of house roasted meats on fresh baked bread, and one of the best selection of oysters on the East Coast. Outside dinning in season, extensive
Part of a small chain, Coastal Provisions offers an extensive fresh seafood menu. It also has a decent beer selection and extensive wine list. You simply browse the ample wine selection throughout the restaurant/store and the waiter will do the serving at no extra cost beyond the bottle price. With seven people, our table received excellent and attentive service. I highly recommend this restaurant and provisions store if you happen to visit the OBX.
