San Diego's favorite "Neighborhood" restaurant. Located in beautiful, quaint Del Mar and winner of the "Gold Medallion Award" for Best Neighborhood Restaurant awarded by the San Diego Chapter of the California Restaurant Association. Dine up on the Ocean
Dined on a Thursday evening (half priced wine!) on the upper deck watching the setting sun. Ordered appetizers and mains for each of us and all were excellent. The cuisine is best described as California modern or fusion and with a creative mix of flavors in each dish. We bought an expensive bottle of wine an it was served in the proper glassware and at the right temperature. Service was professional and friendly. If you're in Del Mar you should get to Sbicca!

The food here was amazing from the appetizer to the dessert. We split the trio appetizer that had tuna, lobster salad and something else. The lobster salad was amazing. I had the pamplemousse martini which was fabulous. Grapefruit lovers should definitely order this. My meal was the boat scallops which was excellent. We finished with the lemon tart but there were so many that sounded great. My only caveat would be the bill was not for the faint of heart.

When ordering in for lunch, this is one of the places we frequent. Their food is consistently good. I recommend the Villa Capri dish. It's the favorite of interest I have tried. The one time dining there, the service was good. They do have a limited wine list in my opinion.

My friend and I loved the fresh Rosemary bread. We decided to split a taco salad with grilled chicken. Very delicious. Back beans, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, cheese tossed with a light dressing. Salsa served on the side if you want more spice. The waitress was very friendly. She answered questions about the dishes and brought us more of the wonderful bread.Half of the salad was plenty. My friend could not finish hers.
