A burger each and a loaded chips between two was masses of food but rather good and fairly priced. Service was casual, friendly and fast. What you want from a burger bar really. Good vegan options which looked pretty tasty and according to our friend were pretty tasty.

Visited with friends on a long weekend to Glasgow. Booked restaurant at short notice, so relieved to get a table on a Sat night in Glasgow. Good aperatifs, a couple of bottles of wine, one being red - Terre de Sole Primativo 2018. This wine on opening tasted fine but gradually became increasingly acidic on exposure to air (vinegary), so wouldn't recommend. Food was OK, pasta, bruschetta, pizzas. Pizzas overcooked. The waiter commented that the pizza Margherita looked overcooked and swapped it out without asking. We finished with Limencellos on the house. The waiter, a senior guy from Glasgow, was fantastic and provided exceptional service. So on balance, I found the food average, a dubious red wine selection but fantastic service. Our Primitivo (producer is "Terre al Sole") wine is one of the most popular we have here- great "entry level" / value for money choice. Of course, for connoisseurs we have higher standard reds further down our list i.e. Negroamaro, Chianti (Rocca delle Macie), Ripasso Classico Superiore (Santa Margherita) and then some fantastic heavyweight varieties such as Barolo, Amarone and Brunello di Montalcino. I find your opinions on wine very dubious indeed, if truth be told. Sounds like we dealt with your overcooked Pizza in the right fashion and that you got great service. The food is here is what you pay for. It is unlikely to change one's life in the way that a plate of pasta and a pizza / some bruschette aren't. Paolo MArtoneQua Italian Restaurant

I stumbled across this restaurant in Glasgow and I’m so pleased I did! Firstly the beer was excellent - and after a long day that was welcome. I decided to have a starter which was the blue cheese naans. I can’t recommend these highly enough - truly excellent. I followed this with the mango chicken dish, and again this was superb. The surroundings are great, the restaurant is big and spacious, well lit and very clean and well appointed. It reminds me, in the best way possible, of an American restaurant - as in it’s been done properly! Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the staff are friendly, helpful and polite.. so great surroundings, food and staff.. I sound like I’m getting paid for this review but I’m really not - it was just such a nice change to go to a modern, interrsting, restaurant..Firstly the beerHi GB1970WOW! What a fantastic review! We were thrilled to read this and we thank you for sharing your experience. We hope to have you with us again soon.Team Swadish
