This is my third time eating at Osteria L'Acquarol. Each time I have had the small tasting menu and, each time, the meal was spectacular. Alessandro and Perla have created a really special restaurant both in terms of the ambiance and the food. It is modern take on Italian with some borrowed elements from Perla's home country of Mexico. Every dish in original and most open your imagination to how much can be done with a few ingredients and some simple techniques. I would give it 10 stars if allowed.

We booked for the Christmas Eve dinner, a set menu, and were asked to arrive at 7pm. The first course didnât arrive until 8.10, then two more courses in quick succession, then a half hour wait, then another course hot on its heels. Currently debating whether to stay for the final two courses. People all around us are looking pissed off, as are we. Itâs a disgrace.Dear Travellingpantaloni,Thank you very much for your feedback. It is very important to us to know our guests opinion in order to improve our services.We regret that you didnât like the dinner. Probably there was a misunderstanding about the starting time of the dinner. We arranged the aperitif in our foyer on the 1st floor at 7pm as a get together, in order to serve all the guests at the same time during dinner. The dinner should have started at 7.45 pm, unfortunately not all guests were on time, that is why the start was delayed.I want to apologize in name of the entire team for the inconvenient situation and hope you will give us a second chance in order to convince you about the beauty of Parkhotel Laurin and the lovely attentions we all have for our guests.All the best,Martina BoscheriPR & Marketing

My husband and I had a delightful meal outside on the patio. We started with Salami, cheese and bread. Delicious entrees included Salmon with Stir fried vegetables (yum), and Beef Ravioli. Menu has quite a variety of choices. Excellent wine accompanied our meal. A pleasant place to sit, relax with good food and wine, and people watch! Pleasant and attentive wait staff.

We often ate dinner at this restaurant in the past so we decided to have lunch there. We were two people and the food arrived at 10 minute intervals. This meant we did not eat together. The bread was wet and I asked for it to be replaced - it wasnât. The past was overcooked and the salad not good. Surely if a salad goes back to the kitchen something is wrong. The waiter was very rude. We will not return but it is a pity as we ate there at least once a week.
