Wir waren am zwei Abenden mit Freunden in der Alten Henne.Es war an beiden Abenden super lecker, frisch gekocht und die Bedienung durch Elena so herzlich und freundlich, wie man sich das nur wünschen kann. Egal ob Flammkuchen, die kalten Platten, dass Kotelett oder der Kalbsgulasch.... Wir waren alle zufrieden :-)Damit ist die Alte Henne auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!!!

Very good tapas, and they taste like in Spain, perhaps even better. We had jamon iberico, croquetas (excellent!), boquerones (tasted like they should) and boquerones fritas (very nice and crisp). The olives were also very good, and the dips tasty and spicy. If you have a hot date or an important business meeting, stay away from the dips, because they are made with lots of fresh garlic. I had the house red wine, which was ok, but there better Riojas. Next time, I'll try one of the other ones. All in all, the tapas bar is a very good addition to the restaurant scene in Coburg.

We were here for a special occasion as we have been relatively regularly in the past. The place has changed hands a few times since we started coming here, although it has not necessarily improved. When we arrived it was completely empty and later only one other couple arrived. The waitress placed the other couple at the next table, which while it was not a problem, was hardly necessary,The food was good for the most part and we had the 6 course special. A couple of courses were over-salty, and I'm someone who loves salt. And the cheese course was particularly uninspired.The service was attentive, she was probably bored, to the point of being annoying with never more than a few minutes between the "hoverings"Although I can't say that anything was really wrong, I don't need to go back.
