Very nicely styled restaurant and as you walk in you feel you are in for something special, however, decor aside....myself and four collegues all left disappointed. The evening dinner menu choice is far too small, the staff didnt do anything to make us feel welcome or look like they were enjoying their jobs at all. The food is very "Heston Blumental-lite" quirky ideas but the lack of choice, tiny (and I mean tiny!) portion sizes and warmish rather than hot meals didnt fulfill any expectations. I would certainly give it a miss as it was the only meal we had in 2 days that didnt leave us full up wanting to go back again.

I am just back from Castellon. We, together with business partners had a lunch in the restaurant Rafael.The food was just perfect: fresh and cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable.The desserts were just wonderful, too.Highly recommended!

Gastroclub located in an historic building. Old hardware store on a 20's dance club. A different place where you can find 3 distinc areas: coffeshop, dinning room and a downstairs club. Good cofee, nice music, excellent lunch and a-la-carte menu

On our way to the south, we stayed one night in this nice city. We stumbled on this restaurant when looking for a place for dinner. We were enchanted by the very nice atmosphere, service. I had lasagne with duck which I liked very much, but also the rest of the meal was noteworthy. In short: I recommend the venue.

Fuimos a celebrar un cumpleaños, y pedimos el menú degustación. Platos originales y bien preparados, comimos de maravilla y el trato fue fantástico.Como en cualquier menú, hay platos que están mejor y platos que están peor, aunque no encontramos ninguno horrible. Repetiremos seguro.

Spectacular little restaurant near the city centre of Castellon de la Plana. We wore amazed by the food! We have taken the menu of the day which consisted in 8 delicious courses. How a BAD service and an arrogant attitude can destroy a wonderfull day. The MAITRE was so unpleasant that is dificult to evaluate other aspects of the dinner. FOOD 2 points, PLACE 1 points, SERVICE 0 points.
