Carrigaline (Irish: Carraig Uí Leighin, meaning "rock of Ó Leighin") is a commuter town and civil parish in County Cork, Ireland. It is about 14 km south of Cork city which can be reached by car in 25 minutes (along the R611, which passes through the town, and then the N28 Ringaskiddy–Cork road). Carrigaline has grown rapidly in recent years, from a village of a few hundred people into a thriving town, although many locals still refer to it as "the village". The town is one of the key gateways to West Cork, especially for those who arrive by ferry from France.

The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega â the grand dame in Corkâs Old Town, Irelandâs largest whiskey bar housed in one of the countries most beautiful bars. Food served 7 days a week â brunch & steaks a speciality! Enjoy our in-house cocktails in the beautif
As a return visitor my fondness for the Bodega is largely fuelled by nostalgia, for when it first opened in the 1990s it was well ahead of its time in combining sophistication and comfort with a large open plan layout in a beautiful refurbished building - a formula which has since been applied in numerous other locations. The Bodega has not lost its appeal, and upstairs provides a tasteful separate space for private functions.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner here, with charming service, great views of the waterfront, friendly staff and delicious food. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Ordered some sort of "mess", wait, it was the Eton Mess, it was AMAZING!!! Wasn't really sure what I was ordering, but it seemed local and it was fantastic!!!

Beautiful Restaurant in the heart of Cork City...Jacobs on the Mall situated in the heart of Cork City has been serving the people of Cork and beyond with the freshest of local and seasonal produce for the past 14 years.
A group of us eat here recently as had heard great things over the years. While the food was lovely, the service lacked so much. One starter came out ages before the rest, no bread was offered, we had to ask on a few occasions for water, as well as wine, as well as dessert menus. Even getting the attention of staff members was difficult. This is only a few of the things that happened on the night. Really disappointing especially considering the prices

My Husband and I recently visited Suttons Bar and Bistro in the Rochestown Park Hotei Hotel.. It was busy but not too crowded. We got a table and waited for a menu. It seemed to take ages before anyone came over to us. I had to go to the bar and ask for a menu and we still had to wait. Eventually ,we made our drinks and food order. We did not have to wait long. My Husband had a toasted sandwich with chips and salad. and he had tea with it. I had an adults portion of chicken goujons and chips and salad. The toasted sandwich was ok but the chips were not good. The salad in both dishes was just a few lettuce leaves with a dressing on them. My goujons were not good. They were not homemade only like what you get in a fast food restaurant. My salad was just the lettuce leaves with the dressing. We were both very disappointed as we do not mind paying for food if it is good but it was not good value. The last visit we had there was much better. For a hotel you would expect more, The staff were nice but did not seem to notice us for ages.
