The location is cool and the atmosphere was great but the kitchen was incredibly slow. Maybe it was the private function preceding our seating we can blame for an ill prepared or understaffed kitchen but 90 minutes for a salad and pizza, while my dining partner had the same starter with pretty lacklustre 'signature' potato wedges, seems excessive. None were great and if not for the staff being so friendly I would've complained. I'll give them another chance but will stick to the bar for drinks.I do apologize for any shortcomings. Please let me know when you are in next and we will ensure your experience is up to our standards. We walked here from our hotel and were very happy with our first breakfast in Bermuda. For a lighter dish, you cannot beat the crêpe with fresh fruit drizzled with English custard sauce. A heartier breakfast was the fish cake with eggs, home fries, banana and avocado. The Philly Steak wrap was a hit, as was the French toast.The coffee was hot and served in a large mug. This café is bright and clean- nothing fancy but perfect for a casual meal. The best part for me was the friendliness of the staff.

Where do I start...I had dinner here and it wasn't good, my tuna tar tar wasn't fresh the green onions looked like the had been cut for days and was sitting in the fridge uncovered nothing looked and tasted fresh my steak was very fatty and chewy I was so angry my friend had fried chicken with onion rings and it was as if they fried the chicken in a dirty oil it was overcooked and very oilly it was our first time there and I don't think we'll be going back. The mussels and Mac and cheese was the only thing we enjoyed.Hello Mr. Francis, we are very sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy some of your food at Village Pantry. We had the taxi driver drop us at the top of the hill at the Gulfstream. We wanted to eat prior to heading down the hill to Horseshoe Bend. The four of us decided on Sushi. What an awesome choice! The Rainbow Roll was delicious, as was the rolls that the others had. It was huge and fresh. Although we did not order it, several other patrons ordered steak and it looked marvelous. The waiter was very attentive and the beer was cold! I would definitely eat here again when we go back.

Best meal of the trip. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service!! Very friendly and helpful with recommendations - knowledgeable on meals and wine. Food was excellent. Very good menu - upscale, lots of choices, unique dishes. The lamb entree was excellent. Wasnât sure about the chocolate lamb jus, but it was yummy. Lamb chop cooked perfectly, and braised leg pie was very tasty. Everybody in our party was very pleased with their meals. Looking forward to a return visit.

Stopped in here for brunch on a Sunday. Would recommend not sitting outside as the traffic noise and fumes can be overwhelming. The food was good but thereâs kind of a big production associated with getting served a cup of coffee. It is delivered on a separate with a bunch of accessories with the result that a single cup basically takes up the whole table setting, leaving no room for food. As Devil's Isle is renowned for it's buzzing atmosphere being based in the center of busy Hamilton adds to this engaging atmosphere, however like most cities the busy traffic can be a difficulty sometimes! We are sorry you didn't enjoy your experience receiving our coffee - at Devil's Isle coffee is very important to us. We have a talented expert coffee maker who roasts the coffee locally on the island to ensure that it always tastes up to standard. This is why when it comes to serving the coffee, we try to give the best overall experience possible. Our coffee comes on a silver tray, with a variety of sugars, a home made biscuit and a small glass of soda water to cleanse your palate if you please. We are sorry it got in the way of enjoying your food. Our waiters are always happy to remove anything in the way for an optimum dining experience, and a regular cup of coffee with no tray is, of course available upon request. I decided to do a take 2 of our 10 wedding anniversary dinner as our first dining experience at another location was underwhelming. So glad I did! Bolero NEVER disappoints and is ALWAYS consistent. As per usual, the service and food were amazing and worth EVERY $.
