When a passerby in the street urges you to make a reservation at a restaurant where you are examining the menu in the early morning, you know you are on to something. When the restaurant is fully booked but the chef makes an accommodation to squeeze you in for the first dinner seating, you are already looking forward to dinner many hours later. Our group was beautifully accommodated to include a strict vegetarian. In a nouvelle style, but still fully satisfying manner of cooking, all of our choices on the menu were of a high quality and tasty. The restaurant's design is modern and spare but not stark. Our server was professional and courteous. Taking into account the superb meal, I thought my dinner was a good value.

From the appetizer to dessert everything was divine. You don't have a wide choice, so before reservation please check their menu. Then if you are a fan of the products they work with, please dive into this wonderful dining experience. The room is cosy and modern at the same time. You have a wide choice of wine that you can buy one glass only. This is great because you can choose one for main course and then another wine that will go better with dessert.Staff discreet and friendly.Prices are fair regarding the food and service.Thank you very much,Soon with pleasure.Marine & Johan

Checking reviews on TA we came here for lunch. The restaurant is located close to the railwaystation/gare.Ambiance is ok, brasserie style.Lunch package/menu du jour for 16.50 Euros (3 courses/ 3 plats) looks like a good deal.... but price/quality ratio isn't good. The worst was the chewy meat ("steak" of beef) which wasn't tasty.Food wasn't a good invest, but open wine was good quality for a correct price.Service was ok.

We stopped during our road trip in Metz for lunch. The four of us had starter, main course and desert. Friendly service, good food. The egg with morels and bacon for starters, beef chuck and risotto as main and a small bottle of local wine. It matched our expectations and we recommend it as a stop over.

Located away from the bustling park of town, this little restaurant could be easily missed. Greeted by the most friendly waiter who went his way to make us feel welcome and took the trouble to explain every dish on the menu with his limited English but excellent body gestures. Thereafter we were in heaven when each dish was presented. The foie gra pan fried was devin, duck orange cooked to perfection, seafood risotto and gnocchi (pan fried each piece) was far better than any I have tasted from the Italian menu....... the rest that followed were equally good. Just go and try it yourself
