My colombian host invited me to the apparent Medellin's institution. The menu has limited Antioquian dishes. The service is excellent and fast. We had a Bandeja Paisa - a dish rich in carbs (rice, plantain, potatoe, bean) with a generous slide of pork belly. Not for the sensible hearts. We are very grateful that you choose us to enjoy the typical products of Antioquia. We are here to serve you and you have tasted of our Typical Antioqueño

Great french food, easy parking, open ambience well ventilated, wonderful service and delicious desserts- i visited this restaurant for the first time to celebrate a relativeâs bday and truly was a very enjoyable experience- the appetizers and options of soups were delicious including the freshly cooked corn bread- the main dishes were totally out of this world and the desserts were espectacular- the service offered by Diana was extremely nice and very attentive to all our needs- prices were medium high and parking very easy-

It's a long couple of blocks from the nearest Metro stop, but this experience is worth it. Imagine a food court with maybe 40 different choices ranging from the simple to fine dining, filled with people and music, all at reasonable prices. The noise and the crowds downstairs were almost overwhelming, but we found a seat upstairs at the Italian restaurant and had a great meal.Hello! We love that you had a good experience Welcome always!

We just had lunch at this place. It is hard to find because you have to get up the stairs at first and on the outside we couldn't a sign with the name of the restaurant. Maybe even better, because now it was nice and quiet! We had the nachos and salmon salad. Both of the dishes were not standard and therefore very nice! We really enjoyed our lunch here. Apart from the food, also the restaurant is styled very good! Loved all the plants and wood.

Stopped by for breakfast on our first morning in Medellin. The smells of the pan de bono and empanadas filled the room. We got coffee and breakfast. Everything came out quickly and tasted amazing. Very attentive staff, friendly and always smiling. So glad we found this place! Muchas gracias por todo, muy rico.

My wife and I ate at the location downtown Medellin. The restaurant is on the second floor and overlooks a pedestrian shopping avenue. Authentic atmosphere and food. Folks you canât get more nostalgic. Very typical dishes - try any number of soups to full plate meat dishes...they are excellent. Staff is very professional. Depending on arrival time; you might have a wait.Hi,Thanks so much for sharing your positive experience with us. We're so glad that you enjoyed our food and service and we look forward to your next visit. Thanks for dining with us.

Alamanga is a local restaurant that offers a unique picnic style setting. We are a perfect place to share with the ones you love along with the best grill, Sangria, Roasting marshmellows and happiness.
PROS: My family brought me here for my b-day and I really enjoyed it. This isn't your typical Colombian restaurant. It's picnic style, so you sit on a blanket in a well-kept grassy area with an umbrella for shade. The food is chopped up and eaten with toothpicks. My two favorite items were the fried cheese and sausage. Had to order a second round of those.CONS: Sitting on the ground too long can get uncomfortable. And if there's no room for you under the shade, you could be in trouble on an extremely sunny day.Hello!, We really appreciate your review, we are glad to know that you had a good time and celebrated your birthday with us. We understand that, sometimes, spending a lot of time on a picnic cloth might get uncomfortable. As an alternative, we offer chairs near the picnic setting and we also have picnic-style tables in an indoor space. Thank you for letting us know why your experience was excellent and for making us notice some points that we can get better at.

This restaurant has all of the attributes that are important for a great restaurant - delicious food, creatively conceived and created items, thoughtful presentation, comfortable and nice setting, and great service. On top of that, you are helping indigenous people in the Amazon Basin by ordering their dishes that all use ingredients mostly from the Amazon Basin. You also receive a gift rosewood carving created by these people, providing additional income to them. I cannot remember when Iâve ever eaten so many courses with mostly unfamiliar ingredients (even the drinks!) They ranged from very good to incredible in flavor. To me, the incredible items included pork in borojo sauce, fermented pineapple panna cota, and Mapinguarà (a flavorful cocktail made from cocona, arazá, etc.). Other people will likely have other favorites. Two added observations: the entrance was a little obscure (take the stairs to the right of the sign near the street) and be prepared to spend more than usual. It is a very fun place to dine. People can eat the same familiar dishes at the same familiar restaurants, or try something totally different. I was very glad I did and couldnât wait to tell people about it!

Barcal is a modern restaurant whose purpose is to awaken new sensations. It focuses on contemporary cuisine by employing cutting-edge techniques while staying true to traditional culinary concepts. Its commitment to culinary excellence and the top-notch q
Outstanding tasting menu with 11 courses (hard to count, always wonder if the appetizers count as well). Very fresh food and incredible taste. The âwine paringâ was special with beer and non-alcoholic items being included. Still interesting but we would go for a nice bottle of wine next time. Compared to places like El Cielo, we definitely prefers Barcal. More authentic in our eyes

Barbaro cocina primitiva is the perfect choice if you want to taste the best grill plates this city can offer. We have a selected variety of proteins (pork, beef, chicken, fish, seafood) every recipe with our secret american touch.
This is a hidden gem with delicious food and drinks at reasonable prices. The steak was perfectly cooked with unique sides like American potatoes which included pickles and smoked bacon. They have a tomahawk steak that I would highly recommend. We appreciate the time it took to tell us your experience and give us a good rating. The team is always willing to do everything possible to make your experience a barbaric one.
