Things to do in Buga
somesite is magic, where history and good food come together in uno.la food is very good and excellent service and I hope to return soon and people who follow the comment I recommend Hotel Restaurant El Rincon De Geneva.
We came for a day trip to Buga from Cali and had lunch here. The food was delicious and staff were lovely. The extra bonus was a large outdoor courtyard for our boys (3 & 4 years old) to run and play in while watched them from the restaurant.

Besides the food taking well over an hour to arrive after ordering (I think it's more of a cultural thing here) the ambiance, service, and food were excellent. I would def come back here if I'm ever in the country again! A little pricey, but certainly not something a foreigner can't afford.
The food, the service, the environment an the view of this place will take you to another World. The quality of the food is excellent. Everything is prepared as you ordered, get a drink or taste the delicious handmade lemonade while you wait for your food. Take a look to the mountains and breath the fresh air. My compliments to Camilo and the Jaramillo family for this spectacular place. All the plates are delicious but I fell in love with the Lomo Emperador and its delicious coconut sauce (tried twice). The restaurant is few minutes outside the city but is worth the 10-15 minutes drive; you will not regretted. Even the Mayor of the city and his staff goes often for lunch (was there the day we were there). You can call ahead of time for reservations or order your food ahead of time.

I went there around 5 times in diferent times visiting Buga. Its important to understand that there you find the kind of place: "corrientazo", that is just one menu in the day, not many option, you wont have a menu. But its cheap, and for this price its good tasty and nice and quick service.
this place is a classic in Buga the best seafood tostones and also best breaded pork chop i ever tasted

Followed the Trip Advisor reviews to Don Karlos with a group of 8 people for lunch. Walked in and the place had one customer. The waitress tells us that they only have pork or chicken cutlets available - that's it! Not to mention that the decor was abysmal. We walked right out and didn't look back.

Costiky is in central Buga and has parking. It's situated in its own little square and does good grill foods. It's a relatively busy restaurant and has a lot of staff to keep it going efficiently. It has Wi-Fi.

En Maria Mulata urbana podrás disfrutar de nuestro deliciosa parrilla de autor y sus platos de creación
Wow- was this good. I am not even the biggest steak eater but it melted in my mouth and I know that it would be triple or quadruple the price in the U.S.- Monaco or Hyde Park level prices. This is located in a a multi restaurante plaza that looks like one big restaurant so make sure to step through to the wood plaque sign on the inside. What is also interesting is this tucked in the middle of nowhere. I honestly could not tell you how to get there but that is ok..ask the locals if they know where the El Trapiche centro de comercio is. Supposidly this building is a converted sugar cane drying barn. Not sure how true that is or if it was just named the same word for said drying facility. Anyway, asking locals where to go is the Colombian version of GPS. Basically you ask until you run into whatever you are looking for!I would love to see if GPS even works in the convoluted streets of Colombia.Anyway, it is worth the effort to find it!There is an outdoor bar area but it is technically another establishment. I am not sure how they manage this in Buga but they have mastered the art of good ventilation. So the inside is usually more comfortable than the outside eating.Buscando carne rico en Buga? Pues, es tiempo para conocer este restaurante hace pronto. Para 30mil pesos puede disfrutar comida riquisima!
