This place was recommended by our hotel and we certainly enjoyed our lunch there. We tried a chicken dish that was very good but the real hit was a beef dish called Punta de Anca, good quality beef cooked perfectly. The servings were large and reasonably priced. We sat in an interior courtyard and saw a pretty little hummingbird in the tree near our table. I believe this restaurant is only open for lunch (noon to 4 pm). We tried to go back another day for a late lunch ( around 3 or 330 pm) and they had no food left!

First off I need to say that I am from New York and have very high standards when it comes to Pizza. We like cheese pizza on a traditional crust. Pizza Amour blew my mind with there pizza cooked on a corn Arepa. After splitting one my first night in Barichara, my Fiancee and I came back to eat pizza 3 more times. They are super friendly, very modest and I could not get enough of that delicious pizza. And did I mention the Vegetarian Burger.....Holy Moly that was one of the best I have ever had and also served on a corn arepa. This place cannot be missed. We sat in Bar Zambomba next door while eating our pizza and drinking Mojitos. Great place, great food and great people.Thank you for such a motivating commentary, which challenges us every day to be better

At this restaurant we had the best food in Barichara. We were a group of 11 (3 families with kids). We were all extremely happy with the food! The service could be better, it was a little slow. But the food was so good that we forgot about the slow service

Quite incredibly the LP guide got it right when it came to restaurants for once. Food served was excellent, very well seasoned and tender meat. Juicy sides too. But the service was so-so (and I can speak Spanish). Not rude, mind you, just a bit disinterested/passive. Exactly what the guide said.If you like goat meat this is the place to go in Barichara.

Went there for a late lunch on our first visit to Barichara and were very happy with the food, service, restaurant and the staff.The steaks were delicious, tender, and served on top of a Lava Stone where you will finish to cook it according to your taste. We ordered the lomito or tender loin, because we loved tender beef and was delicioso :-) The side dishes were also good and very unique. We took a tuk-tuk from the center of town and the Restaurant is located just a few meters outside the main entrance of town. The restaurant is on a very pretty area surrounded by trees, flowers and birds. The owner had impeccable taste for the China, glasses, tables, lamps and for the setting of the restaurant all designed by her! She was very proud of her restaurant and was very friendly too :-) We ended up staying longer sipping Coffee, that she gets from her favorite Coffee Plantation, and talking about the area.We will go back on our next visit to Barichara. Definitively is a Must!!Thanks very much for your for great coment and we wait for your next time in Barichara

I`ve been here twice. First for juices (jugos), which were good. Second for eating dinner. The salad and the pasta served were excellent, especially the freshly home made tomato sauce. It tasted like somewhere in Italy. Furthermore the price was reasonable.

For 14000 pesos each, my husband and I were served: Blackberry juice- the best of the trip so farSoup- very bland, but typical Lechuga of pork/chicken- both over cooked and dryRice- plainGarbanzo beans- very good and well-seasonedGelatin with pineapple for dessert was a let down. (Ending with a higher quality sweet would leave a better overall impression). Service was good and our waiter was very patient with our clumsy Spanish. The location canât be rivaled in this town. The courtyard garden of this large old house is a cool, quiet oasis from the heat of the day. There is also a bar in the opposite side of the courtyard to stop in to just have a beverage and rest. We thought the price of the meal was fair, given the lovely setting and staff (a cooking school and arts and crafts school). We recommend offering condiments for the grilled meats and a small, but more interesting, dessert to their menu del diá. We hope to return for dinner one of our remaining nights in Barichara. 5-service3- food4- value

We were very disappointed by the pizza : the base was as hard as plaster and topping was frugal.Prices were reasonable ; between 18k and 25k, but we tried much better pizza for this price.
