We have tried this food twice. First time was ok. The second time was horrible. The food seemed warmed over, dry, huge chicken wings, yuk, and rice was dark brown, we threw most of it away. We will not go back. We are New Englanders where the Chinese food is awesome. Not up to our standards.

This hole in the wall restaurant has everything from Chinese food, burgers, steak, chops, oyster stew, franks and rice, breakfast ham steak and pancakes to name a few.The food is tasty, filling and you can order breakfast, lunch or dinner all day.The atmosphere is friendly, relaxing and homey.

The food here continues to be artfully and tastefully prepared. The lunches are very generous and well may justify a take home box. The restaurant is located a bit off the main drag in a well maintained block of small shops. Look for the extensive list of weekly special dishes as you enter.

This was our first visit to the Spring Garden restaurant in Woodland. We had received a rather gruff reception at another restaurant in the same plaza so decided not to stick around for more bad customer service. On leaving, we saw the Spring Garden across the way so decided to give it a try.The interior is rather nice - very clean, faux wood floors. The server was very helpful and quite humorous - a nice change from the usual sombre mood of a Chinese restaurant. No complaints about the service at all.Hubby tried the General Tso Chicken, I had the Eggplant in Garlic Sauce. Hubby said the Hot and Sour Soup was very good, the Egg Drop Soup was also delicious. Both of our meals were very tasty. Option of rice or chow mein with your meal. One thing I really liked was there was no after taste that I sometimes experience with Chinese food. Everything tasted clean and fresh. The servings were huge and I had to take half of mine home.After finding this little gem tucked away in Woodland, we'll be back next time we're in the area. Unusual for me to actual say that because Chinese is not my favourite food, but my hubby loves it. This time, I liked it too!

Had a lovely luncheon here with a friend today chose to order off the full menu we enjoyed two vegetarian dishes vegetable egg fu young and Mapo tofu both were presented in an excellent fashion and served beautifullyWill sure come back there again

The Corkwood has been around for many years, although it has moved to a new location a few years ago. American/Chinese cuisine is offered. Although I haven't tried it, people enjoy the breakfast with eggs and fried rice combo. They also have a steak night that is very good. A nice family restaurant with reasonable prices.
