This is the best Chinese takeout I've had since I was a kid. I usually go with the staple favorite of chicken and broccoli, but other members of my family get lo mein, shrimp with garlic sauce, house fried rice, and everything is delicious. It's always busy when we got to pick it up, so you know it's a hit!Although they provide some seating, don't plan to eat there. Usually the owner's kids are sitting at the only table provided, or there are so many people waiting that you can hardly have a conversation with the person next to you. Definitely pick up and eat at home - wonderful!

There's not a whole lot to say about China King. Their food is consistent with your average Chinese takeout/delivery place. The menus are exactly the same as any other place with just a different name and phone number at the top. That being said, the food is also consistent with other places which is good when you are expecting standard Chinese food. The staff seems pretty nice and the restaurant is relatively clean compared to other Chinese restaurants. I've seen people dine in but mostly it's just a takeout place.

My wife, daughters, son-in-law and I went to the Crownery last night to celebrate my wife's birthday. The Crownery has always been one of her favorite restaurants in the area. And last night did not disappoint! We ordered way too many meals for the center of the table but with the reasonable pricing this isn't an issue since there are leftovers are always good the next day! Friendly, attentive staff along with reasonable pricing and an easy to find location make this a terrific choice for the best Chinese food in New Castle County.

I wouldn't necessarily call this place an attraction for travelers, but most of us locals like it. They have your normal selection of Cantonese food that is well prepared. They provide large portions and their prices are the best in Hockessin for Chinese food. They are also fast. The sit-down area of the New Dragon is nothing to write home about so it's best for take-out. You can eat there, but the atmosphere is very spartan.
