If you are a local, then you should know this place has taken over Kunming Sisters. As per usual, one reviews a restaurant on three things: locale/atmosphere, service and food. I will do the same:1. Locale & AtmosphereThis little restaurant is situated on the main street of Wagga Wagga. You can easily park on street or in Sturt Mall opposite and walk to the restaurant. Atmosphere-wise: there isn't any. It's like a hospital cafeteria.2. ServiceIt was very difficult to get service here. The servers/owners have very little English and it took even a while to get my order down. When I queried about the food (see below), they couldn't understand what I was saying and had to explain via a translator on their phone.3. FoodThe food itself was pretty ordinary. I ordered a chicken laksa and the soup was bland and watery and there was so much vegetables (and unconventional to laksa at that) compared to chicken and noodle, it's like the chicken and noodle was playing hide and seek behind the vegetables. I found a black marks on the chicken. It was not very appealing and when asking the server/owners, they sought of huddled together, played with their translator and showed me that it's 'chicken' on the phone. I told them I know it's chicken but what's the black marks (and these were not burned feather marks - they were bigger), they kept pointing at the phone. Eventually I gave up and walked out.The quality and questionable source of the food has made this a very bad experience. The atmosphere and the service added on top makes this an exceptionally bad place to eat.I advise you not to try.

Not a lot to say about Hoppys as it is such a good place for either a quick lunch take-away and also for larger meals on those lazy nights when no one wants to cook. They will always help with specific requirements such as vegetarian and vegan requirements and as they are so helpful in this regard we will never go anywhere else for our take-aways.The food is very good and always fresh and tasty.

Passed this new outlet in Wagga whilst out shopping. Ladies in the window making dumplings just like I've seen in Shanghai. Beavering away!!Returned later in the day to buy some for dinner. Excellent range, very high quality and outstanding value. They have a very good variety of dumplings, along with other Chinese dishes.Do yourselves a favour and GO!!

We loved it! We had honey chicken, sweet n sour pork, fried dim sims, bbq pork with plum sauce, special fried rice and i have to say everything was fresh and cooked well! I don't usually like dim sims much but these were up there with the best I have ever had! The sweet n sour pork meat was a little fatty but apart from that everything was full of flavour! We will be back! Thank you for a really enjoyable meal and I am very fussy with food!

Just looking for a place to eat while visiting Wagga and stumbled on this restaurant and decided to try it. The decor was fairly plain, much like the Chinese restaurants of yesteryear. The service was friendly but the big surprise was the food. It was delicious. As a small group we decided on a 'Family Set Meal'. The quantity of the food was great and we enjoyed every dish

Unfortunately very disappointed with evening meal at the Saigon Restaurant. Was very much look forward to a Vietnamese meal made with fresh produce and full of flavour. Unfortunately, failed to deliver with baby corn and mushrooms from a can and lacking any form of flavour.Wonât be back.

The food wasn't bad, in fact the chilli calamari was exceptional but what completely destroyed the enjoyment was having to eat our meals out of the dirty soup bowls which are pretty smal anywayl . Never have I had to do that anywhere even in a lot cheaper restaurants. They need to lift their game.
