Turkish and Xinjiang fusion restaurant. Probably best in the city. Nice environment, kind staff, great middle eastern flavors. Definitely a good choice for the international traveler tired of eating trash.

It looks more like a bar rather than a restaurant. They cook very delicious fish and sea food. It is quite nice to sit in the bar-like restaurant to have banquiet, which is not that normal in Urumqi.

Used to be fantastic but because of security issues it was closed down in 2011. It used to cover several streets and the abundant food laid out along the sidewalks. The clothes and knick-knacks stretched for a couple of hundred meters in every direction...but sadly it is no more:(

I love the athmospere in this place. The duck might be a bit on the pricey side but it taste good. I reccomend the duck, dishes are good too but if you stick with the duck then the cost is lower.

Incredible food (well, there is no bad food in China), wonderful service, great atmosphere. We had a private room, which comes with it's own restroom (which is highly convenient), and a little kitchen for the staff. I can't tell you what we had, but it was ALL outstanding!
