Tomball (/ˈtɒmbɔːl/ TOM-bawl) is a city in Harris County in the U.S. state of Texas, a part of the Houston metropolitan area. The population was 10,753 at the 2010 census. In 1907, the community of Peck was renamed Tomball for local congressman Thomas Henry Ball, who had a major role in the development of the Port of Houston.

This place deserves a zero for rating. We decided to give this place a try today and we were the only diners for most of the Sunday lunch hour. One other couple showed up. I am not sure how they will survive in the restaurant world. I tried the lunch special for Sweet and Sour Chicken and left most of it uneaten on my plate. The sweet and sour sauce has not flavor. The fried food was too greasy. I actually spit out the bite I took of my egg roll because it was soaked in oil. The rice had a weird smell and was bland. We sat for awhile with empty drinks and I thought to myself how can they fail to take care of our needs when there is no one else here! The waiter finally came to ask if we wanted refills and of course we said yes. I later noticed on our bill that we were charged for refills. I inquired about the extra drink charges and he said refills were not free. I complained that we were not informed and that every other restaurant in Houston gives free tea and soda refills. I told the waiter and the lady behind the counter we would never return and they just ignored me with a we don't care attitude of no response.

Everything prepared fresh, like the big coolers of vegetables. Sometimes a wait for your favorites depends on orders in front of you, but at least you know it's fresh.

We enjoyed hot and sour soup, fried eggrolls, and two very nice entrees from their specialties menu page. The eggrolls were light and not at all greasy, and the entrees were clearly prepared from fresh ingredients while we waited. The flavors and textures were quite nice. This is s small place, and the staff was really busy keeping-up with the dining room and the abundant take-out business, but very friendly and personable.

Their daily lunch menu can't be beat. Food is plentiful and very tasty. Choice of soup along with an eggroll accompanies each lunch. Food is always prepared fresh. Small dining venue and quiet. Staff isn't overly friendly (talkative), but very nice. A really good place for fresh Chinese food.

Clean restaurant, tasty food, good prices. We were anxious to try the Szechwan beef, since another local restaurant had "dumbed it down". This Szechwan was much better. The decor is meh, and the service was o.k., The value of the meals was outstanding. We will definitely be back.

We stayed at a local hotel after a swim meet. Our kids were hungry so a quick meal was in order. The buffet was OK. Lots of serving trays were very low on available food. Kids were satisfied but nothing special about the buffet. However their sushi was better than the average buffet. Our meal for 4 averaged $50

Had lunch with my business partner. Ordered the chicken vegetables steamed with steam rice, received sautéed chicken vegetables in brown sauce with steam rice, lost in translation. Regardless it was very good, no MSG, no stomach ache. Recommend for good lunch Chinese food.

Our last dinner, seaweed salad, special wanton soup, mongolian triple (beef, chicken and shrimp) a little spicey, was mmmgood. The service, Annie, is excellent .Good location. If they would add music, any kind, would be more lively and I would give them a 5-star.

The name caught our eye. Great selection the menu has many choices to offer.Noticed the dress was casual. The Sushi is wonderful. Everything was very clean and fresh. The prices were aforable and the service was excellent. Nothing to complain about, will definetly go back.
