Welcome to our restaurant and tasting Chinese food!
Being British we fancied a Chinese or Indian. As there is no Indian cuisine in tomar we opted for Chinese and were looking forward to it. The starter of spring roll was acceptable but the wontons were horrid. Just a pile of deep fried batter. The chicken curry was alright but more onion curry than chicken. The chicken in pineapple came nicely presented in a half pineapple but orange coloured and very sweet. Fried rice was bit salty but ok and chips are just chips. The wine was nice tho. The meal itself was not expensive at all, but I'm afraid you pay for what you get. The restaurant is very clean but it's not got atmosphere and staff appear bored.Unfortunately we shan't return. Whilst Portuguese cuisine is very tasty it would be good to try other countries delights and maybe a bit of competition would encourage the chef here to try harder. Apologies for poor review but it's an honest one.

I personally don´t like sushi, but there were plenty of other dishes on the big menufor me to enjoy. Friends with us said the sushi was good. The buffet is not self-service. You tick the number of the dish (dishes) you want and the waiters bringthem (not always in the order you asked for!).I think it is better to order 2 or 3 dishes and then more once you have eaten them. There is no limit to the dishes but you are expected to eat it and not waste it bybeing greedy! It cost 10.95⬠each plus for drinks and coffee. Limited choice of sweets is included. At weekends and holidays and dinner time the cost is 14â¬.As this is more than we usually pay for lunches (we eat out 2/3 times weekly)this would be for special occasions, though some friends visit here weekly andrave about it.The food was good quality and nicely presented, though we didn´t like the soup - a personal choice.

Good quantity and good price of food.
One of the best places we have eaten in on our whole visit in Portugal. Extremely cheap but so delicious. Great vegetarian options too even though all of them werenât on the menu. We only wish we would have taken some home!
