King Chef suffers the same problems that many Chinese restaurants suffer from, too many menu items. While many on King Chef's speciality items are very good to excellent, some are really bad. The Hot & Sour soup and the Shrimp rolls are a good example. Not the worst Chinese I've ever had just average. It's a problem in Toledo.

That is small but actually GOOD. Sometimes, less is more. Been visiting here for about 20 years. The buffet offering is so good I've never ordered off the extensive menu. In fact, for take-out, I get a carton and visit the buffet and pay, per pound, at the register to go. Nice family operation, generous offerings and just good food. Only complaint is sometimes the food could be a bit hotter, but that's about it.

Took adult children to dinner with grandma for her birthday. Spring rolls were piping hot and tasty. Dumplings, Happy Family, and walnut chicken were delicious. Szechwan Chicken ordered extra spicy was fine, but oily...like the sauce separated. This was a first. We love the newly renovated decor and will return like always!
