It is the administrative capital and commercial centre of Finland's northernmost province, Lapland. It is situated about 6 kilometres (4 miles) south of the Arctic Circle and is between the hills of Ounasvaara and Korkalovaara, at the confluence of the river Kemijoki and its tributary, the Ounasjoki. The city and the surrounding Rovaniemen maalaiskunta (Rural municipality of Rovaniemi) were consolidated into a single entity on 1 January 2006. The new municipality has an area of 8,016.75 square kilometres (3,095.28 sq mi), thus making it the largest city in the European Union by land. Rovaniemi has an approximate population of 62,000.

We were greeted very friendly and the waiter was very helpful with the menu. Within 10 minutes we were standing outside with reasonably priced takeaways. The dishes were delicious and had a depth of flavor I did not expect from a Chinese restaurant in Lapland! The servings were too large though so we unfortunately didn't finish it all. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Service here is poor. I had to catch the waiters attention more than once to order. I had to ask several times for plates, cutlery and napkins as my table was bare even though I made a reservation. I ordered a pork and tofu dish which had no pork, even though the waitress insisted that there was and the sizing of our soup was small.Taste was ok but not the best

Nice and clean place and friendly service. You can choose between finnish and chinese food. Stick to the finnish menu. Itâs basic but decent. The chinese cuisine is chinese only by looks - taste is horrible.
