My daughter and I went during restaurant week and ordered off the prix fixe menu. The selections were very good and portions large. I ordered a dish that the menu indicated contained chicken beef and shrimp. When my dish came out it was missing shrimp. The waiter offered to bring me shrimp out separately. There was nothing wrong with my dish other than it was missing the shrimp. However, the waiter returned, not with shrimp, but to take my dish because the chef wanted to check the dish for shrimp. I told him that I preferred to keep the dish and that they just bring the shrimp separately. Unfortunately, he insisted the the chef must have the entire dish. I then sat without my meal for almost 10 minutes while my daughter ate. My dish returned finally with shrimp added, but not in the form that I had it. It had been picked through and reheated with shrimp added. Additionally, my daughter had finished eating once my dish was returned. The whole situation made me very uncomfortable. The proper response would have been to just bring out the shrimp. I informed management that I was uncomfortable and she believed that the chef followed proper protocol. The food was very good. Unfortunately, the experience made me slightly uncomfortable.

This place has been around for a long time. My mom and I enjoy going here for lunch on the weekends. Their food has not changed in all the years I have been going there. My go to is the chicken and broccoli and my mom loves their sweet and sour chicken. Anything I have ever ordered has always been prepared very well. The service is always very good there. This place is a more upscale Chinese restaurant. Nice place to dine and plenty of seating and a small bar there.
