Reviews on Chinese food in Pushkar, Rajasthan, India. Pushkar (Hindi: पुष्कर) is a town in the Ajmer district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is situated about 10 km (6.2 mi) northwest of Ajmer and about 150 kilometres (93 mi) southwest of Jaipur. It is a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Sikhs. Pushkar has many temples. Most of the temples and ghats in Pushkar are from the 18th century and later, because many temples were destroyed during Muslim conquests in the area. Subsequently, the destroyed temples were rebuilt. The most famous among Pushkar temples is the red spired Brahma Temple built during the 14th century CE. . It is considered a sacred city by the Hindus particularly in Shaktism, and meat and eggs consumption are forbidden in the city. Pushkar is located on the shore of Pushkar Lake, which has many ghats where pilgrims bathe. Pushkar is also significant for its Gurdwaras for Guru Nanak and Guru Gobind Singh. One of the bathing ghats is called Gobind ghat built by the Marathas in the memory of Guru Gobind Singh.
Things to do in Pushkar
3 year ago i was open this restaurant in main market of pushkar I am open this place to improve our telent That how to make the falafel and dessert in the town
Stopped here after sampling their falafel and got their falafel plate and a banana lassi. The lassi was quite nice and the falafel plate was a hefty portion of falafel, hummus, tzatziki, fries, eggplant, and a cabbage/onion/tomato salad. I generally donât order falafel bc itâs hard to make right, but these guys nailed it. hummus was also very tasty.
Best Quality My Friend..........
The location overlooking the lake is certainly one of the best in Pushkar. However, I didn't like the feeling there (it felt like a place where people go to get stoned, which is really not my thing), and a peak in the kitchen wasn't terribly encouraging.
we were recommended this place by a young friend...it was a good one.. the room was perfect ,cozy, clean, big and quite...food was best ..!!i just love to stay there and highly recommended for stay longer or a while.. for chillout.. !!will be beck soon.....for new year party:)

This is clearly a new restaurant - only one review before I wrote this. They clearly are still learning and have a lot of work to do before their service and quality is up to a standard acceptable to a five star resort. We needed a break from Indian food so decided on pasta. We ordered 2 appetisers, a plate of fries and 3 pastas - not a complicated order. The waiter read it back to us leaving out one of the pastas: fettuccini Alfredo - so we corrected him. There was a flurry of activity in the open kitchen with up to six people staring at the order at one point. The waiter returned with the news that there was no fettuccini so I settled for spaghetti Alfredo. The appetisers came and were fine, followed by fries and two pastas. No Alfredo. We mentioned we were still waiting on another pasta and the waiter seemed confused. We repeated we needed one more pasta. It hadnât arrived after 5 mins then 10 by which time the others had finished their Luke-warm, overcooked pastas. We again mention the fact to the waiter who said it was coming. I called over the head waiter who seemed unaware there was an issue. Eventually he returns with my Alfredo and the âother pasta we orderedâ which we hadnât! Again, it was over cooked. When we arrived at 7pm we were the only group in the restaurant. There were only another 3 or 4 by the time we left. Any waiter with any sense would have noticed I was sitting with no food in front of me while everyone else had their pasta. In summary the food was mediocre, the service was poor and I would not recommend this restaurant.

The leafy garden restaurant,100 mt from the Brahma Temple,is very popular with locals and tour groups. It has tastey Indian and continental cuisine, including lots of live tandoor options and rich and creamy curries, plus big garden.
Aahhh..!!I was thinking to write something fancy but then I realised - "good places and good people do not require fancy words."Well..from walking in the door and being greeted by the employees ( all time smiling & attentive) seated and food order taken...the meal was freshly cooked and excellent taste. Enjoyed our food with live Rajasthani folk performance. The one thing took my heart is the peaceful ambience and lavish food. Thank you Ms Deepika Singh for the beautiful evening. Will visit Mystic Lotus again!!Keep it up guys.Good luck!!
I am so glad to have tried this restaurant. My Pushkar (holy city) trip would have incomplete without this meat. Sitting by the holy lake in a beautiful setting and eating delicious Indian food was topping my list of things to do in Pushkar . And this restaurant totally delivered. We love everything we ordered. We took a bunch of pictures by the lakeside. And we left extremely satisfied. Special thanks to mr. Ram Rathore (owner) who help us from menu items with sweat spoken thank you memorable day.
