Our Chinese restaurant specialized in delicious meat or vegetarian wun-tun's. We make authentic chinese wun-tuns, or potstickers for everyone. Choose between pork, chicken, beef or vegetarian prepared fried or steamed. In addition to our famous wun-tun's,
Hons may sound like a 3 star eatery but its more than that in our opinion. We visit very Highend restaurants that have $$$+++ in the reviews but I have yet to find one that will really be everything , cost, portions Service cleaniliness, and Taste + Variety , and prepared Fresh. Each time we land up there we try dufferent stuff, and ech time we have come hme feeling good and at times( mostly if we are just 2 of us) laden with the food that we could not eat in one go !I just hope that they REMAIN this way and because CUSTOME PAYS THEM SO MANY COMPLIMENTS THEY DONT DECIDE TO CUT CORNERS LIKE OTHERS.

Yesterday I went with friends for Dim Sum to the âKam Ding Seafood Restaurantâ in Coquitlam. We ordered Beef Tendon with Potatoes, Beef Tripe, Ground Beef Balls, Shrimp Spring Rolls, Shrimp Dumplings, Scallop Rice Rolls, Home Style Chow Mein, Mango Pudding and Black Sesame Balls. Most of the dishes tasted ok. But while the taste of Scallop Rice Rolls was better than I ate just a week ago at another restaurant, the scallops in them tasted old. The Home Style Chow Mein was extremely salty. And the Mango Pudding tasted quite artificial; other restaurants do it better, with real mango. The price was a bit lower than the average for Dim Sum.Generally, I was not so impressed by the quality. There is nothing special that appealed to me. But it was also not so bad that I would avoid that restaurant.

This was our second visit, second chance for Dim Sum. The place was busy but not full. No tea or water for 15 minutes. Ordered spicy wontons, which were flavorless lead-like balls filled with glutenous mystery meat. The shrimp dumplings and scallop dumplings were good, but served without any dipping sauce. Had to get up and ask for soy sauce, vinegar, and hot pepper oil to try and make our own because the servers were inattentive. They gave a tiny dish of the oil, which was immediately depleted, and they did not bring vinegar. The pork dumplings were flavorless. And then we sat and sat and flagged someone down for more tea and sat and sat and finally the tea came, but by the time the green bean dish came (the only dish edible on it's own), we'd had it and asked to pack it and leave.Don't bother going. Both times were like this, but this time both food and service were worse.
