This place has the best Chinese food in town. Lo Mein and General Tso chicken being my favorites. Food is always hot & tasty. I just reccomend watching your change if you pay with cash. On two occasions I was shorted 1$. The first time I thought perhaps a math issue, but the second time I did not think so. I think in the future I will show up with exact change.
I tried this place out as part of a survey of local Asian cuisine restaurants. The restaurant is a small place in a strip mall in Phoenixville. It reminds me of the Chinese restaurants in Jamaica, Queens, NY. The items on the menu and the set up are similar. I had to wait a while for the food to be prepared. The food was ok. I expect Chinese food to have lots more flavor.

Was there last week , and they were not prepared. The younger girls ( maybe 11 and thirteen ) seemed to be in charge of the front of the house. Though empty glasses blocked used plates, they were never refilled as plates were taken away. The youngsters dropped our check while we were still eating, ignoring our glasses again. Get some adult servers and I'll be back.

I did a so-so review about Umami a while back after a disappointing take-out experience but a return visit for eat-in dining turned out to be very good. Our Edamame and Lettuce Wrap starters were excellent. Our daughter and her partner raved about the Tom Yum soup, Sashimi and Red Curry while my wife and i were more than pleased with our Wonton Soup, Pineapple & Shrimp Fried Rice and Crispy Sesame Chicken. Atmosphere is pleasant and service was attentive. All in all, a good experience. Our bill for a group of 4 was $87 for a lot of food, a pretty good value. Will return!
We ordered delivery from this place last night out of an unwillingness to trek in the snow at night. They were swamped with orders (probably from people who had the same idea as we did), so they were backed up for about 30 minutes later than expected, despite only being a few minutes away. No big deal though. Food was still hot, and my chicken and steamed rice was very good, especially for 5 bucks. Paid about $30 for 3 people, including the tip and delivery fee. I'm visiting (not from this area), and my impression of Phoenixville's restaurants is pretty pricey, so this was a relief to find.

I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. Some of the dishes are wonderful - house special fried rice, thai pineapple shrimp fried rice, shrimp fried rice, egg rolls and japanese dumplings. Others seem average - malaysian coconut soup, fried wonton.

Itâs Tuesday evening and Tonyâs in the mood for Chinese and were in Pottstown at his brothers house. So we ask if they know of a good restaurant close. They told us to go to Mizu. The restaurant is very nice, great atmosphere. We ordered hot tea, which was made with fresh herbs. It was very mild and good. We ordered appetizers, the Shrimp tempura and fried Veggies. It was good but could of had more then 2 shrimp for the price. We ordered our main course , I had shrimp fried rice with crab meat, it was excellent and Tony had a beef chicken and shrimp with pan fried noodles, he liked it but didnât realize what fried noodles were. All in all it was a good dinner the portions were good and the price was reasonable. I really liked the decor too. I will definitely go back and recommend it to others.
