We ordered take-out, picked up and enjoyed our family Sunday dinner of two orders of steamed dumplings with their delicious sauce, shrimp egg foo-young with steam rice, house-special egg foo-young with steam rice, and a quart of their special young chow fried rice. We received 4 cans of complimentary sodas with extra hot sauce, soy sauce, and duck sauce.

This restaurant specializes in take out food although they have two small tables if you opt to eat there. We did as we were travelling and had just finished visiting the Edison Museum. It was recommended to us by a park ranger. The restaurant is a short way down the block.I am not going to grade this restaurant on atmosphere as it is not meant to be a restaurant destination. If you decide to eat there (as we did) seating is very basic and limited. We sat next to a stockpile of soda. Place you order at the counter and they will deliver it to your table when done. We were surprised how good the food was. The menu is extensive and lunch special run $5-6. Entree choice provided with pork fried rice plus your choice of soup, egg roll or can of soda. Simple to review: We have shared their take out without telling people where it is from. They all demanded to know from whence it came!! Hot and sour soup, ribs, dumplings are wonderful. Order main dishes with spices.
