Hunan Delightâs decor is average. Their food is wonderful!! I was there for lunch. First of all for lunch at either $7.50 or $8.50 you get a complete meal, including a large bowl of soup, crispy fried noodles to start, tea, a large bowl of rice, your entree, a small scoop of delicious sherbet and a fortune cookie. I had the hot and sour soup, which was very good. My entree of crispy shrimp and walnuts was to die for!! I would love to go back and have it again! Our service was very good.

After the rest of Olney has gone to bed at 9 pm and I still haven't had dinner, Shanghai is my go-to carryout. It's good, basic, inexpensive Chinese food. They have an extensive menu and lots of vegetarian choices. I wouldn't eat in the restaurant because it's seriously lacking in atmosphere, but the kung-pao chicken will feed me for days and the double-cooked pork is nicely spicy and is good for two meals. Those are my favorites, but I've tried a lot of their menu and haven't eaten anything there that wasn't passable.

This place is a joke. When they answer the phone you can't even tell if you dialed the right number. Completely impossible to understand. When they repeat your order back to you for accuracy, I find myself asking them to repeat time and time again. There are kids at the counter that do not know anything but how to take an order. My wife placed an order the other day. On my way home I went to pick it up. There were several orders waiting to be picked up. I asked which one was mine. Nobody had a clue. They never took a name and I had no idea what my wife ordered except that it was from their TVP menu. I told them that it was from the TVP menu. All they did was show me all the orders. Ended up calling home to find out what we ordered. Still all they did was point to all the orders. I had to go through all their orders to find mine. I kinda had a clue since our order was pretty big. My choices were narrowed down. We love ethnic food in our house. It is so different than what I cook, it is a big novelty. There is one thing that will really get to me. If they are dealing with a clientele, they must know how to speak to their customers.Plus they are RUDEFood was very good.
A bit overpriced compared to other local Chinese. Extremely fast delivery. Stick to the basics. BEST hot and sour soup EVER. Great spicey tangy wontons and subgum wonton soup.
