Would love to give above average rating, but they do not readily serve wonton soup! Having traveled a great deal, one becomes very familiar with the Menus and was quite surprised that Mt. Vernon does Egg Drop and not Wonton Soups! Go figure! Their menu is fine otherwise and service rather fast.

This is by far the best Chinese Buffet in Mt. Vernon. Prices are good and what little service you receive at a buffet is always pretty good. Typically, no Chinese buffet is worth the trip but this one is OK.

Decided to eat in this good stopping point of a town off I57. Wanted a chinese buffet and it was between this and the Asian Buffet. I liked that it had hibachi grill, although not a ton of options to make hibachi with. Mainly onions, bell peppers, steak, chicken, and pork. The sesame/general tsao chicken and fried rice tasted a little "off" to me, but there were alot of other items that were good here. It was about $11 for dinner buffet, and the atmosphere was unique but similar to other chinese buffets i've been too. I'd try the asian buffet next to compare.

This was a quick decision to eat here. We arrived and we're greeted quickly as we tried to figure out the menu and how ordering worked. We were offered samples several times by the employees as we debated. We ordered and had a slight delay as they swapped out some of the food with fresh from the grill food. This was impressive. We had been somewhat concerned about being able to get full since we assumed the portion size would be smaller. We were impressed by the portion sizing as well as the service. The atmosphere was not bad but did seem like there was not a lot of seating although there were several 2 person booths and tables. We enjoyed it and will likely be back soon!

Quite a few items on the buffet and all were good. Price for dinner buffet was $10 for adult. Dessert bar as well with ice cream and other items. Limited sushi items.

We came for sushi and it was very good. It took a long time to get, but we did order 2 very large and detailed dishes. I noticed another man order a regular roll and it did not take long. There was a lot of fish in the roll. Dear Sdmitchell256Thank you very much for come to our restaurant!I'm very sorry for your wait, when you came, there were many sushi rolls I'm still working on, and every body came at same time too. Supreme special dishes take much longer to make than regular rolls, for rush lunch, I recommend call us before order your food by phone and set up time to come, we will try our best to have them ready when you come. We will try our best to make our restaurant better and welcome back at any time, we will try our best to serve you better!Thank you very much!
