We arrived 3 hours later than expected in Montelimar due to very heavy motorway traffic and we needed something quick and filling after a day on the road.We drove into the centre of town but it was deserted and the restaurant that had been recommended to us was empty so we decided to give that a miss. We had driven past Gambas Royal on our way to town from our hotel and so we decided to go back there. Whilst Chinese buffet meals are not our preferred choice we were very pleased that we had come here.The choice was astounding and fresh and being constantly replenished. Pork, beef, prawns, squid, frogs legs, fish, salmon the list went on and on. There were also oysters, various shellfish, an incredible spread.For those who wanted their food freshly cooked there was also a large selection of raw meats, fish, vegetables etc that you could load onto a plate and then get it cooked.What surprised and pleased us was that despite the volume on offer the quality did not suffer, it was thoroughly enjoyable and absolutely fantastic value for money.The place was very busy and it's easy to understand why.

Restaurant un peu à l'écart des autres mais pourtant très bien. L'intérieur n'est pas grandiose mais la nourriture est bonne et les prix corrects. Le personnel est un peu froid mais sympathiques quand même. Je le conseille.

Ãa fait bien 17 ans que nous venons dans ce très bon restaurant. L'accueil est toujours tellement sympa et agréable et les plats toujours au top ! Les bobun sont à tomber et très copieux. Merci encore à Hai et son équipe, on adore venir chez vous !

Just had an ourstanding lunch at Nam Hai. 4 parts to it. Cold starters that included sushi, prawns, clams, oysters and all the salad you need. Chaffing trays with a big mix of Chinese/ Thai / Asian dishes. A âwokâ area where you choose your meat, fish, seafood, veg etc and itâs cooked for you with a choice of sauces ( from satay to curry ). And a superb dessert display ranging from donuts, to eclairs, to Dame Blanche, lots of tarts, fresh fruit, sweets for the kids ( and me ) and ice cream. Lunchtime price was â¬14.90 per person and adding wine & Perrier took it to just â¬36. Top food, top value and a warm welcome.

This buffet is certain to meet the interests and needs of people with a "discerning palate"!!The variety is very substantial- including specialities of many countries in SE Asia, Japan as well as different regions of China.The presentation of the food is also enticing!
