The chicken filet with Chinese mushrooms was excellent but the babi pangang was a bit too sweet and the sauce could have been warmer. Very friendly waitresses. Excellent value for money.

We stayed in the village for 4 nights and ate here for 2 of our meals. The food was fresh, attractively served, and proportions were more than enough. Each time we ate there, the owner came around and asked if everything was ok.

Wednesday night just past 8 o'clock and not another soul in the place. As a party of four we might have expected superior service as we were the only people there. The tone was set when the Chinese lady dropped 4 menus on the table instead of handing them individually to us. No English language ones but I don't mind that I am after all in rural Holland. Fortunately the contents are similar in both languages. The lady seemed really disinterested in us as she took the order. No Prawn Crackers which I am used to being provided without asking either. Two different soups, Asparagus and Won Ton were VERY similar, pretty sure it was the same base. Mini Leompias with a dipping sauce were nice. Main courses of Pork with special sauce and Nasi(rice) and Bami(noodles) with chicken and veg were very large and we did in fact only eat about half of each. The remains we took away to eat another time. The white wine was terrible and the waitress never came back to see if anyone wanted anything else. If they improve their service I might return as the food was actually quite good and plentiful.

Warmly greeted on entering the restaurant which was very busy even at 6pm on a Sunday.Decided to try the Indonesian rijsttafel(rice table) and was really impressed with the quality and quantity of the food provided and at a price of â¬21.50 each, tremendous value! Starter of chicken soup arrived quickly after ordering and was lovely. The main course of 9 different dishes arrived in plenty of time. We had a carafe of the Rose wine which was excellent and great value at â¬9.The staff were really attentive and really knew what they were doing, great professional service. We watched other diners partaking in the chinese menu which looked just as delicious as the indonesian one! This is a top restaurant and one i would love to try again, even if it required a detour!

When visiting Mierlo, but interested in a culinary world trip this is the place to go.Can be busy so better make a reservation. The Sushi corner was surprisingly good. Fresh, tasteful and well presented. The Indonesian dishes are also good ax well as all other dishes. Haven't tried the kangaroo steak, but will do another time.
