During 30 years and Middleton, visits to imperial garden are always the same. It wins best of Madison award almost every year. I think that speaks to the general publicâs idea of Chinese food. You can taste the processing. If you want authentic or unusual items skip this restaurant.

I have been to many oriental restaurants in the states and many are very good. What makes them different from the traditional restaurants in countries is the lack of homemade noodles. Well, I finally found one that makes their noodles just like I remember them made in Hong Kong, Vietnam, and China! Delicious, perfectly made with just the right texture that lets you know that you have found noodle heaven. The place is unpretentious and loaded with very well done Chinese art created by the talented owner. Good food, good art and good service. Heading back soon

Perfect for lunch or take-out or a dinner when you don't want to cook at home. Excellent, chicken, shrimp, beef and vegetarian entrees in bowls with rice or soups. Nothing fancy, but everything is cooked fresh and it is excellent. A good deal for the price.

We stopped by this restaurant for Chinese take-out. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and my wife ordered Moo Shu Pork. Both orders were ample in size to be used for two meals. We were given two pork egg rolls for free, as well as two boxes of rice. The dishes were prepared in less than 10 minutes. Both dishes were excellent. Staff was friendly. The restroom was spotlessly clean. There are a few tables at which to eat but this restaurant is clearly used more for take-out orders. We will return. They accepted Visa.

This "take-out" restaurant has been a Middleton staple for more than 20 years. The food is consistently fresh and tasty. I have been ordering the Egg Foo Young for at least 15 years. Haven't found another local that can beat the taste of the egg or the gravy. A recent remodel of the building front should encourage others who might otherwise drive by to try this hidden jewel. It may not be easy to spot as it is not directly on Allen or Century. It is very close to the Golden Arches.
