I've been meaning to come here for a while, being a Vegetarian, and today we made the trip. It's a very un-assuming restaurant but the food is fabulous. Service very fast and friendly. We had the Yum Cha and the food just kept coming. I wish we could have fitted more in! The eggplant is gorgeous, the onion cakes divine - I can't choose a favourite, it was all so good. Will be going back for sure.

A wide range of tasty, appetising dishes styled on cuisines from all over Asia are available. All meals are meat-free. There are a small number of cold drink choices available, also. I really enjoyed the spicy Chinese style broth. Prices for everything are very reasonable. Located on the Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach, just south of Pacific Fair. The staff are amazing. Try Tian Ran if you are on the gold coast, Queensland.

We hesitated to go here as doubted how good it could be but were not disappointed. Excellent value, enormous menu, lovely staff and best of all delicious. A great find and weâre hoping for a warm night next time so we can sit outside under the beautiful coloured lanterns.

In this restaurant you order from a menu then wait. They don't use multiple roving mobile trolley carts in this place, and that's usually a negative sign. I won't use up time here explaining why. We started with a plate of sliced BBQ Pork and a plate of Crisp Skin Duck. The first was a disgraceful dish of very OLD dried pork which had been FRIED UP with soy sauce to disguise its terrible condition. The duck seemed to be two old dry duck legs severed into pieces with a cleaver. We then had serves of four different types of dumplings. Only one type was nice... The others were very dry and lacking the normal flavour I expect. We had a dish of savoury Turnip Cakes and they gluggy uncooked starch inside. We finished with a few custard tarts which were only "ok" at best. During the entire meal we were served by young Asian women, all of whom had the blackest and most unhappy demeanour. We spent close to $70 and asked Constance the cashier for a small carry bag for our takeaway box. All she said was "Five cents" and gave me a most challengingly aggressive and icy look. Well forget the bag and forget ever expecting to see me again. The Management and Staff of this joint seem to have a death wish.
