This is a friendly vegetarian cafe/restaurant serving variety of delicious vegetarian local food, staff can speak English and Chinese. â¨Notes: Open 7am - 2pm. Rest on Sunday!â¨â¨Daily available: chicken rice ball ( must try as special in Malacca and come earlier or may sold out), nyonya curry noodles, burger, wantan mee, mee rebus & etc.â¨â¨Food served only once a week: hokkien fried noodles, bak kut teh, hakka yong tauhu, nasi lemak, spaghetti, duck noddles & etc.â¨â¨We love the food here and the price is fair, you can choose normal or big serving. We ordered normal serving to share, so could try more variety. The food here all so yummy, we came three times already, will continue try the rest when visit malacca again.

We hired a chauffeur-drive car, Alex, to take us on this road trip and Malacca is one of our stops. Itâs really great not to self-drive to truly enjoy a holiday or otherwise would be a rather stressful time getting through the congestions and narrow streets. There are two shops - hereâs the one! The owner puts a signboard (written in Chinese) to inform customers they DO NOT have any other âbranchâ except the one youâre in.For a touristy experience- itâs almost a MUST-GO. Itâs bite-size assorted food items put on skewers, cooked in Satay sauce.Proper hygiene is to time the cooking and not to return to the sauce to recook after your first bite. The service: very friendly boss! Only the boss...serving is fast. Be there before or by 5.30pm to secure a table easily or the queue starts and steamboats take time to eat.The food: Fairly good varieties of meat, seafood and processed items. The gravy is just a little too sweet, spiciness is very manageable. At the end of the meal, staff will count number of skewers consumed and charged accordingly. It wonât be too painful to the wallet.Enjoy the experience!

The restaurant is located inside the City Bayview Hotel. I was driving around and looking for a shop lot :)Food was great especially the salted egg lotus root. We ordered twice as someone else offered to paying :) I couldn't find anything bad to say. My hot spicy chicken noodle was awesome. Service was OK too. Will not hesitate to recommend. Mom already planning to go back for the porridge. Cheers!Hello CuteMonster,Thank you for reviewing us here in Trip Advisor. Very good chicken rice. It was so good that we went twice. First time we tried ball and second time normal loose rice. For first time travellers, you could try the rice ball for novelty sake, but the loose rice definitely taste much better hands down.Chicken texture is smooth and sauce is fragrant with hint of sesame oil.Chilli is quite good and goes very well with the chicken. Ordered together with a plate of stir fried cabbage to offset the oilyness. Service is also quite good, despite the relentless queues. The interior of the restaurant is suprisingly huge so waiting times are not that long. Do come early in the morning as its the best time to avoid crowds.

Was an excellent dinner. Every dish was good. The cheese beehoon, crab, pork rib, chicken... every dish was just so good. You need to book way in advance otherwise be prepared to wait a long while for the table.
