If you enjoy Chinese buffets and want something close to Mckeesport or White Oak Pa. China House is the place for you. They have become our favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Not sure what their individual meals are like because we always get the buffet. We've never gone in and gotten bad food in the buffet.

Three of us visited for lunch. The restaurant was busy and we waited about 5 minutes to be seated. We were greeted by friendly waitress which took our drink order. The menu was varied and had plates that included noodles, meats, vegetables, dumplings, rice and more. We shared steamed vegetable dumplings which were hand made. The rice dumpling was soft, however very bland. I had the braised beef with rice. It included a hard boiled duck egg. The cilantro added flavor but overall again very bland. The beef was very well prepared and tender. One of party had the Dan Dan Noodles which were identified as spicy. I tried them and the flavor was much more intensified with the spice, not overly spicy but just right. I would encourage you to order any spicy item that meets your interest because I believe the flavor would be much more enjoyable. Everything was certainly authentic, service was prompt and cheerful.

We get this a lot and never had any problems. We like the taste of our regular Chinese orders better than other local takeout spots. They do take credit or debit which is helpful. Most dishes come in two sizes. I'd recommend the pork-fried rice but they sell it as a meal and it is filling on its own. Looks clean inside. Will order again I'm sure.

I got some take-away here on the recommendation of a friend. This place is located in a dying strip mall. The interior turned out to be a large, hot, gloomy, and none-too-clean room with boxes and dead appliances piled up in one corner, sticky tables, and a surly 20-something yelling in Chinese at the people in the kitchen. Honestly, it looks like a movie stereotype of a nightmare Asian restaurant. You could eat in here, but why would you?Nevertheless, I persisted because I trust my friend. We waited a long time for our food. It was clear they were getting a lot of take-away orders, so people do seem to like the cooking. The wait turned out to be a good thing because our egg rolls and dumplings were, apparently, handmade on the spot and quite tasty. Our cold sesame noodles were not so appealing, being just noodles dressed with sesame oil and seeds, not sesame butter. After tasting we threw those away. The menu includes many of the usual Chinese favorites. This no frills place IS inexpensive. And, no, the food didn’t make me sick. Would I come here again? Yeah, probably.

Ordered delivery to motel. The guy taking order was so rude saying he couldn't understand me (like I could hear and understand him plainly) and I told him to put extra mustard and soy sauce. He got mad when I asked him to repeat the order. 50 minutes later, food arrived and it was messed up order. Fried rice container only 3/4 full (unlike most chinese restaurants that pile it in) and only 3 packs of mustard. I called back asked him to send more with delivery guy when he came back by this way. He started saying "I no cost you money" and he said he only had 6 packs to begin with. I asked him why he didn't tell me up front so I could have ordered something different and he said it was no big deal. I am the customer, they got $22 off me including tip and it don't matter I want mustard? The food was also bland and like I said, no a lot of it. Save your money, just go to McD's

The staff is always friendly and very personable. The place is always clean! Food is always plentiful and tasty. They are quick too. Reasonably priced as well. You can't go wrong with pretty much anything you order from the menu. I'm not a big fan of too much Chinese food but I've enjoyed everything that I've tried here. Tonight was Hunan chicken and shrimp with fried rice. Excellent choice, with so much food I took half home! Fried dumplings are excellent! Wonton soup is also very good (recently changed their wontons to a thicker version, they are good but not quite as silky as they used to be).
