We got take out from here for the first time this past weekend and were pleasantly surprised. Friendly service and good food. It is a small place with only a few tables, so more of a traditional to go restaurant. We will go back next time we are in the area

Ginger Bistro has become a local favorite for us. Very extensive menu. Have had many dishes, each executed beautifully. Particularly like the clay pot selections. Their tofu dishes are really good. Great service recently from Robert, but has been spot-on every time. Nice selection of beer and Saki. Have also had the lunch specials, which are delicious and great value. Only excellent things to say and highly recommended. Thank you.

Pretty original Chinese food. Eat there or take out. Standard environment for Chinese food. . have done just take out and never been unhappy. Be patient, they speak English but don't always "get it quite right - but they try". Order from Counter Service, but there are tables for dining. Remember, this is an Island and not much to choose from. This is the ONLY Chinese Restaurant and it would be great if they delivered.

Chen's China Bistro serves New York Style Chinese food. Our restaurant is the perfect place for a romantic dinner, celebrating a birthday with a loved one, or a fun night out with friends. Also we have beer and wine, bubble tea available
The establishment has changed. Reading other reviews my thoughts are about the same. Apparently there has been some turnover of staff that has been the reason for these changes. The ownerâs replies to comments sounds like he is trying to keep the place going. I donât think it is going to work. Here is my take on what I originally gave a top rating for the restaurant:It has turned in to a Chinese picnic. What used to be a very elegant sit down restaurant is now a fast food type operation. You now have to seat yourself, take a paper menu and then go to an order desk to place your order and pay when you order.Your food is served on paper plates with plastic tableware. Drinks are served in Styrofoam cups with âto-goâ lids on them. You food is delivered to you by wait staff. This is still a very attractive restaurant but with the serving and ordering changes, I can no longer support a five-bullet rating. There is also an issue I have with their âfrequent flyerâ cards they stamp for you. You get one stamp for every $10 you spend. It is EVERY TEN you spend. If you spend $39.99 you get THREE stamps.I wish them luck with this business model.
