We have been using this Cantonese take away for at least 10 years and have yet to have a bad meal. Their egg fried rice is always fresh and "fluffy"and the prawn crackers crisp. Also at Christmas they reward their regular customers with a calendar or such like which is a nice touch for a small business.Certainly the best in the area.

We like to try different takeaways, as sometimes they go off, this one also has seating, our food was piping hot ( I always collect, they can deliver but I prefer collection ), tasty, usual portions, will use again.

Shockingly rude service what we got to eat was okay and inside is nice which is why it is an honest 2 stars. Phoned to booked for 19:30 for 10 people! Told had to be 19:45. Then told when ordering main course that kitchen closes in 10 minutes so you can only order 4 dishes and can't re-order Bill over £240 for rushed unpleasant service we lost definitely will not be back and will not recommendWell americafarmontour what's up Doc 4327004? Maybe in need of a report to GMC in regards to Mental Health traumatisation. I notice you run your own SMALL farm and say you age your own beef and slate any establishment that does steak, you even gave a bad review to a place just because it wasn't open shame on you. Well I am not surprised at all that you deal with beef because you have come up with some right BULL about the China Rose, I guess you have you own pig's because your quite good at PORKY PIES.Letâs look at the truth in your review, fact you wanted to book at 7:30pm but the earliest we could fit you in was 7:45pm, this is because we had other bookings that booked before you arriving at 7:30pm and we also had lots and lots of takeaway orders to cook. You didn't book until around 6:45-7pm and you were lucky we could fit you in at all, the only reason why is because some of our earlier tables turned up with less people than they had booked for.Another truth in your review is that yes our food is OK and the inside is nice, we have many very good reviews that state this.So what I don't get is you booked at 7:45pm but none of your party arrived by this time WHY?The first lot of you arrived around 8pm and the second lot around 8:15pm (I actually didnât think you were going to turn up and in hindsight I wish you hadnât).Now the menu you chose was the Eat As Much As You Like which lets you choose four dishes at a time and re order as many time as you like (says it in black ink on the menu). Now I am guessing youâre the guy that came in second group that was trying to show off being RUDE in a demanding way, you said to my staff that you wanted to order more than four appetisers as you wanted more of a mix at one time, so the staff member came to ask me if that was ok, now as we weren't too busy in the kitchen at this point I agreed that you could do this but if you were to come again we couldn't promise to do it next time (so we gave in to your demand and what a mistake it was as you left three vegetable spring rolls and some ribs).Your order consisted of:SeaweedSesame King Prawn & Chicken Toast x10 (pieces)Paper Wrapped Chicken Rolls x10Black Pepper & Garlic King Prawns x20Vegetable Spring Rolls x10Barbeque Spare Ribs x20Aromatic Duck for 10 people (you wanted this as a second round after you had eaten the other and we gave you such a mountain of it you requested more pancakes). You then ordered some Szechuan sauce, Hot and Sour Soup and a Chicken and Sweetcorn Soup when the first appetisers had arrived (Umm yes very demanding, why you couldn't of ordered these in the first place I don't know). All the above arrived promptly. Now a pattern is arising here because one instance your watch must be running slow as you got here late then at 9:10pm when a member of my staff asked if you were ready to order mains as the kitchen closes at 9:30pm (also says this on the menu in black ink) you say this happened at 9:20pm lol now your watch is running fast, my conclusion is you either have a crap watch or you canât tell the time (I think it must be you canât tell the time how embarrassing youâre a grown man). So yes you were told the kitchen closes at 9:30pm i.e. get a move on but were not told you couldn't re order after that time as this would be my decision. You also requested as you said you were quite full to only cook for five people as you didn't want to waste any food.Your mains order consisted ofChicken Chow MeinCrispy Shredded Beef CantoneseKing Prawns with Ginger and Spring OnionLemon ChickenSpecial RiceEgg RiceSweet & Sour Sauce (ordered once again after everything else and you didnât even touch it).So you say you lost (of course we hope not to).Letâs work it out.Food you spent around £200Drinks you spent around £40 for 10 of you.Total £240Now I will work out what it would of cost you had you of chosen the A la Carte MenuStarters £115.45Duck £44.00Mains £63.70Drinks £40Total £263.15So how did you lose as you said you were quite full before eating your mains of which you didn't finish and also had you of chosen the other menu it would have cost you more.SO ACTUALLY YOU WERE THE WINNER CONGRATULATIONS WHOOPY WHOOPY WHOO.Oh yeah you also asked to see the desserts menu but when you found out they werenât included you soon changed your mind and when one of my staff was clearing your table you snapped and told him not to do that and get your bill of which he asked another staff member to do and then carried on clearing your table. We expected your review and letâs be honest you were the Rude one.
