After moving to Bolton le Sands from the countryside of Vietnam, owners Sammy and Victor have been welcomed by the community with hospitality. They have been cooking Chinese and Vietnamese meals in the kitchen at 4 Main Road since 1997. Since its small be
A very friendly welcome, spacious, well decorated and clean.Mixed starters were wonderful, well presented and very tasty, highly recommended.Singapore vermicelli was very good and so was the beef in black bean sauce. Huge portions as well.Alas, the crispy chilli beef had the constituency of cardboard and only forensics would be able to find the beef.Egg fried rice was bright yellow in colour, stodgy like over cooked boiled rice and ditto the above for the egg, looked like it was just brought in and microwaved rather than freshly made.Wanted to compliment the excellent service by the staff but this was marred by ? Owner on payment, just shove me the bill, took my card out of my hand, handed me machine for number, tore off bill. No acknowledgement of my presence, no asking me how the meal was, no eye contact, no thank you.She sadly lets the rest of her staff down.

I went here with my finace and friend last night and really enjoyed it. We all ordered from the authentic menu. The salt and pepper fish was great as it usually is. I tried the beef brisket one pit which was outstanding. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Very good Chinese

First thing I noticed about this takeaway was that the menu was also in Chinese usually a good sign.Service was very quick and efficient even though it was a Saturday evening. We had chilli and salt spare ribs, very meaty and almost juicy with enough chilli heat, these were the stand out of the meal. We also enjoyed Singapore vermicelli which had less of a curry flavour and hotter than usual but still very nice, and Szechwan bean curd, a tasty tofu dish, good to see a good selection for vegetarians.Portion size was generous and we will visit again when in the area.

Our award-winning chef Ming and his team are dedicated to provide our customers with authentic and fusion Chinese cuisine.
Firstly, it's a mess. No investment in this place. Scruffy, unkempt feels cheap & dirty, left side of the restaurant seems to be for storing junk as well, not a place for a romantic meal!Secondly, totally inappropriate music, played extremely loud. I mean, I love ABBA, then Nirvana, but usually at home in my kitchen or at a party, not when I pop in to a 'restaurant'for a tasty afternoon bite.... Thirdly, staff members either don't know how to treat customers or they don't care! One female sat on a bench constantly on her phone, the other, after stopping playing games on her phone, then decided to spray her face with water & sort her hair out.Fourthly, the food was below average at best. The menu says their "award winning master chef", I think he must've been away. Dumplings, pan fried, were warm at base, and defrost cold at top. Egg fried rice, tasteless & hardly any egg.To finish, guys, come on! If you want to be successful it takes love, passion, commitment, investment in people, marketing, attention to detail, ethics, (haven't you heard about the plastic issue? Try paper cups!). I'd rate you as the worst Chinese restaurant in Lancaster right now, and there are a lot of options, which I will gladly take after giving you a second chance. Get help!

I got a takeaway of Chicken in Cantonese sauce, salt and pepper beef, and egg fried rice. They were simple, uncomplicated dishes that were done well. I see from reviews that the salt and pepper ribs are highly recommended, so, as I will be going back, I'm trying them next time! What I saw of the premises were nice and clean and staff were pleasant.

My partner booked a table for my birthday. It was a cold night outside and barely any warmer in the restaurant making it an uncomfortable and brief visit. The staff were charming and attentive and the food was beautifully presented but bland. My chicken with ginger had only a hint of ginger and the chicken with black bean sauce and chilli may as well not have included chilli in the title.Sorry but I expect more flavour in a Chinese meal.

I would always recommend to book just because they are always busy with takeaways and the restaurant is quite small. The welcome is always friendly and the owner surely knows how to run a restaurant.the arrival of the drinks are quite slow, but the freshly cooked food and the selection of dishes on the buffet menu is fantastic.Believe me you will not be disappointed if you can be a little patient with service. You will get your moneyâs worth and they are very generous with their portions.Keep up the good work, this our favourite Chinese restaurant in Lancaster,Morecambe and surrounding area.

The only Malaysian Chinese Noodle Bar in Lancaster! Enjoy our fabulous dishes in the restaurant upstairs, and then go downstairs in the supermarket to find ingredients to create your own at home!
This restaurant is above a Chinese supermarket and not obvious if you did not know it was there or were looking for it. It is simply decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a set, and an a la carte, menu. I had three courses for less than £10: chicken sweet corn soup; fried chicken wings; sliced pork with vegetables and fried rice. Each dish was well cooked and tasty. The portions were also a good size and, unlike some set menus, they did not skimp on the ingredients - so the vegetables with the pork were a good selection and not just Chinese cabbage. A bottle of Chinese beer was £2.90.
