We read all the positive reviews and were not disappointed. This place is great if your looking to try a variety of different things. We just kept ordering various items and they continued to bring them out fairly quickly. We enjoyed everything that was brought out. Service was excellent as well.

The place was very no frills and just a few tables with chairs. No ambiance or decor or anything hawaiian on the walls. The food was average as the vegetables with my tofu were cabbage, celery and onions. Nothing special and no chinese veggies such as bokchoy. The mixed plate was just plain and no flavors as lacked sauce and no garlic or spices were used.

China Boat is located on Lower Honopiilani Road and serves decent Chinese food. When we want to eat Chinese food, this is one restaurant that we will think of.Service is good but the restaurant seems to need a little renovation. There is a private parking lot for the customers.They have a fairly busy take out business as well as the in house sales.

Okay, here's how we play it: we know we're gonna get two or three entrees with our side. We go for the veggies and a noodle "side" and then decide on what meaty-treats we're going to take home. Once home, veggies are split with the noodles and the meaty entrees fill our plates as we darn well please.So, don't limit yourself to ho-hum (yawn, boring) rice or noodles only. Branch out a bit. Even ask if you can get 1/2 rice or noodles and 1/2 veggies. Oh, the Panda veggies are awesome and taste so much better than straight carbos. But that's just us, Panda aficionados as we are, our Panda dinners are way better this way.
