The food at Overseas is great! The menu contains a mixture of Malaysian and Chinese cuisines. Huge selection. Wide variety of choices for vegetarians. Table service is a it lopsided as it appears that many of the waitresses don't speak English, but the food comes out quick. It's a basic spot as far as decor, so go for the food, not the ambiance!

having lived in Beijing for 3 years, i can vouch that Lan Tian served authentic chinese food just like in China. I stumbled into this restaurant while walking around the neighbourhood. My hotel (Bougainvilla Rest House) is within walking distance from this restaurant. i was visiting khartoum and i was delighted to discover this gem.The serving is big and the prices is typical khartoum asian restaurant prices.Llan Tian (or Blue Sky in English) is located in a hotel of the same name.

We visit this restaurant about once a month, the food is excellent but be prepared for a wait as it is cooked to order. This is no problem for us as it gives us a chance to have a relax and conversation with friends. The food has never disappointed us and they are generous portions. This week I phoned an order in to takeaway - food was ready and waiting when I arrived and naan and roti was cooked fresh as I paid the bill.
