Find out what Chinese restaurants to try in Indian Trail. Indian Trail is a suburban town in Union County, North Carolina, United States. Founded on March 12, 1861, the town holds a history of traders traveling along the "Indian Trail," which ran from Petersburg, Virginia, to the Waxhaw Indians, and gold mining. Indian Trail was first a farming community; however, German and Scot-Irish settlers began to move into the area due to its geographical location. In 1874, the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad was built between the cities Charlotte, North Carolina and Monroe, North Carolina. The railroad, which runs through the town, brought prosperity to the area. Indian Trail was incorporated as a town in 1907, with established city limits based upon a one-half mile radius from the intersection of Indian Trail Road and the Seaboard Railroad. Indian Trail has grown rapidly in the 21st Century: a 2011 CNN article stated that Indian Trail's census count jumped from 1,942 in 1990 to 33,518 in 2010. Every Fourth of July the town holds an annual parade which is one of the biggest parades in the Charlotte metropolitan area.

We have gone to more than I can count Chinese restaurants, only to be disappointed. But with Ming Fu, we thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance, flavors, and service. Their prices are decent and the portions are plentiful. As a repeat customer, we have not been let down.

Great Chinese restaurant with eat in or take out. The menu is for all comers with meat and vegan or vegetarian options!! For vegans and vegetarians, they always have tofu options for sesame, general tsoas, Kung poa, cashew nut, sweet and sour, you name it. Not many Chinese restaurants have this option!! We love it.

Food was what you'd expect from a decent Chinese buffet. Everything was very clean and well kept, the food was well maintained and hot. The only downsides were that the restaraunt is very small and they don't have a mongolian grill or anything really special to set it apart. I almost gave it 5 stars, but didn't because it was just a small, ordinary Chinese buffet- nothing to really give it that extra WOW factor. However, do want to note it's cleanliness and how well kept it was.

Don't even waste your time here! I've tried many fast Chinese restaurants but this place was horrible! Even the egg rolls were not good and how do you mess up an egg roll? Restaurant lobby area where you order and eat was dirty....dirty floors, rusty tables and chairs. I can't help but wonder how clean the back area is. No thank you! I'll check out the other Chinese restaurants down the street. Bypass this one!

Stopped here on the way home from work and was happy with the outcome. Big menu as a lot of Chinese Restaurants have. Lots of good choices. Crab Rangoon was great. Try the crab sticks too. Good Lo Mein and General Gao's Chicken. Seafood soup was good too. They threw in a nice free dessert too. Worth a stop, They have a buffet or you can take out. Typical maybe but quality food at fair prices.

After moving to Charlotte over a year ago and trying several recommended Chinese restaurants, I finally found the food at Lam's Kitchen to be the best Chinese food in this area. We used to lived in D.C. area and enjoyed the many restaurants there (D.C., Va, & Md.). Lam's Kitchen was a pleasant surprise, given that it was a small store front carry-out type operation. Don't let the appearance fool you, the owner/chef is the real deal. We ate in and took plenty home. His cooking style is authentic as can be, given the availability of the required ingredients. When you visit, notice the Chinese side of the menu and try something different. It's all good and you can ask for suggestions if you're a foodie. This is our go-to Chinese restaurant now, it's worth the drive for me. I won't be disappointed. Not an expensive priced restaurant.Lam's Kitchen is less than a year in operation.
