We usually rave about this restaurant. Well, not so good this time. The entrees were fine. Some of the other dishes not so much. The rice noodles were plentiful but, flavorless. Condiments didnât help. The scallion pancakes were dripping with grease. They were hot but thatâs about it. So, two for two. Not such a good meal. Maybe the regular cook was off. Definitely not a good meal.
A great place to order a quick carry out. The food is good, but not spectacular. It isn't the type of place to eat in because of the atmosphere. It is your typical Chinese carry out joint.
We ordered takeout and picked it up. Walked over from the Hotel across the street. Our order was prepared as I waited because I had come over early. We found that the PU PU Platter contained Ribs (excellent) Shrimp Toast (overcooked and inedible) Fried Pork Won Tons (nice, but a little stingy on the filling) Fried Fantail Shrimp (overcooked but edible) Steak Kabob (very good) Egg Rolls (excellent) and Fried Chicken Wings (large and excellent.) I had asked that the Mongolian Beef be prepared spicy - and was it ever. I loved it, but my wife was unable to eat it. There was hardly any cooking sauce included and what was there had soaked into the fried rice (included in the combo.) The servings were plentiful and it made two meals for us. The packaged sauces they included in the takeout bag will last us for months. Price was reasonable.

Quiet restaurant with comfortable decor, perfect for quiet meals. Staff friendly and cheerful. Tofu proudly listed as an ingredient in a vegetable dish. I tried the hard to find Ma Po Tofu. It was listed as hot and spicy and I told the server I like things spicy. It was not. It was kind of bland. My friend ordered the vegetable fried rice without egg. Very generous portion for the price and actual vegetables in it, but not a lot of flavor. The vegetable dumplings were the best we have ever eaten. Maybe a hint of horseradish to give it some pop of flavor. Cooked well, nice taste and texture. 5 stars+ on them..Portion size: 5 starsStaff: 5 stars
Food was fantastic! The shopping center where it is located might not be the greatest place in the world, but I never had a problem there. I went frequently while I was working at the local powerplant. If you go, try the Singapore style Mei Fun and thank me later. Curry spiced thin noodles with chicken and veggies!

Some friends took me to this little place in Hopewell. When you step inside, you will know you're in a Chinese restaurant - decor, music, and aroma! Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are large. I'm sure we've all eaten a lot of American Chinese food, but this was some of the best I've had. There were some unique flavors and sauces that were spot-on. Their flyer advertises Szechuan and Hunan Styles I wouldn't know the difference between those, but I do know I really enjoyed my meal there.
Where to eat Pizza food in Hopewell: The Best Restaurants and Bars
I went by there yesterday just to try it out. I figured it would be your typical strip mall Chinese food, but I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken (general tso) was cooked just right so the outside was crispy and cooked perfectly. It was also nicely spiced. The spring rolls were cooked very good too. It is still typical Chinese but it is very well prepared making it a good place to eat.
