This is your typical Chinese take out food. General Tso's is on the menu so that tells you how quality it is as far as Chinese food goes (Good Chinese restaurants do not offer this menu item). It's not awesome and it's not terrible. Service is fast and the food is decent as far as Pittsburgh is concerned. Better than getting pizza all the time. They DO NOT deliver!

First time here in this Tai restaurant in the home of a former cleaner/ laundromat. It wasnât that busy at 5 pm but it filled up fast. It was mobbed. People love it. There are a few outdoor tables. Service is good. Large menu. You can add or subtract ingredients. You can adjust strength of spices or have none at all. We had dumplings with chicken soup. A delicious unique dish. For main course we had chicken with eggplant, garlic chicken and sweet and sour chicken. Plentiful portions served hot . Your choice fried or not. I was very impressed with the help. I will go back.

Very good authentic Vietnamese and Chinese food in large portions. Friendly staff and neat restaurant. The restaurant provides a very relaxed atmosphere to be with friends and enjoy the good food. Love coming here at least once a month.

Quite surprised at the overall average quality of the takeout dinner we ordered, given the majority of favorable TA reviews. Ordered from both the "American" and "Traditional Chinese" sides of the menu. My biggest gripe was portion sizes. The dragon and phoenix entree that I ordered (which was the most expensive dish) filled up less than half of a takeout container, and did not come in a brown sauce as advertised. Felt like the restaurant skimped on portion sizes for other dishes as well. Obviously, once you get your meal home you're not inclined to turn around and take something back (but I sure was tempted). Shredded pork with garlic sauce was admittedly delicious, and the lettuce wraps, Sichuan lamb were OK. Sichuan spicy beef noodles were tasty, but way too spicy even for my palette. Overall, disappointed in meal (again given positive reviews). Lucky to have Sesame Inn just down the road - no comparison between the two. Will try elsewhere when visiting Squirrel Hill in the future.

I had been to Hokkaido previously for both a lunch and a dinner, and though I had liked the lunch, I was less-than-impressed with the dinner. Recently I did the same two things -- I went for a lunch and a dinner. The lunch was rather good, not great, but at least average. I was back for a dinner, and the same dishes were not the same, and not nearly as good. I presume that it is a coincidence that both lunches were good and both dinners were not good, but it is certainly inconsistent, and at best average.

P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum
Ordered appetizers first so the entrees do not come out with the appetizers. Brought wrong appetizer, so that didnât work. Food was terribly dry. Brussel Sprouts side dish sent back because burnt beyond recognition. Waitress didnât even know what Sauvignon Blanc is. One bright spot was Jen the manager who took over for our useless server. Terrible disappointment again.

Three of us visited for lunch. The restaurant was busy and we waited about 5 minutes to be seated. We were greeted by friendly waitress which took our drink order. The menu was varied and had plates that included noodles, meats, vegetables, dumplings, rice and more. We shared steamed vegetable dumplings which were hand made. The rice dumpling was soft, however very bland. I had the braised beef with rice. It included a hard boiled duck egg. The cilantro added flavor but overall again very bland. The beef was very well prepared and tender. One of party had the Dan Dan Noodles which were identified as spicy. I tried them and the flavor was much more intensified with the spice, not overly spicy but just right. I would encourage you to order any spicy item that meets your interest because I believe the flavor would be much more enjoyable. Everything was certainly authentic, service was prompt and cheerful.
