Nicer inside than outside, clean and fresh inside. Friendly service. Food came out promptly. We had the Trio Seafood Tofu Hot Pot with shrimp, scallops, fish, tofu, and bok choy. We also Chicken with snow peas The starter was egg drop soup. My only problem was that the food was bland other than that it was good. I know a lot of people would prefer it that way.
What an amazing gem of a place, in just about the most random location for a Chinese restaurant. Picked up dinner last Fri. night based on the reviews and holy Batman, it was GOOOOOD!!!! We got the beef chow fun, chicken fried rice and the honey walnut shrimp. I ordered through Yelp, and realized that I didn't indicate that it wouldn't be picked up for an hour or so. So i called the restaurant to let them know and the girl that answered the phone was lovely, and the order was delayed per my request. When I arrived, the food was already bagged and ready to go, so that was already a plus in my book. The beef chow fun was the best we've had in a loooong time - the beef and the noodles had that beautiful wok-kissed smoky flavor, seasoned perfectly. Same goes for the chicken fried rice - with nice pieces of chicken, and the proportion of chicken to rice to vegetables was spot on, as was the seasoning. The shrimp in the honey walnut shrimp, as a previous reviewer said, were HUGE! And because of their size, they were nice and plump and not overcooked/chewy/rubbery, making it well worth its $17 price tag (as is the case a lot of times when restaurants use puny ones). IF I were to nitpick about anything, it's that I wish it had more walnuts. My "usual" go-to Chinese places in this neck of the woods were Young's Gourmet and Red Lantern. While those 2 are perfectly fine, I can't wait to go back to Szechuwan Garden to try some more of their menu!

When you live in the Glendora area and want good dumplings you have to drive to Arcadia, Alhambra or Monterey Park not anymore. In the shopping center corner of Route 66 and Lone Hill you will find Muken Dumplings. This is small but fresh atmosphere. Friendly staff that greets you when you come in and thanks you when you leave. We shared the Pan Fried Beef Dumplings, Spiced Pork Belly Noodles and steamed Pork Dumplings. The pork dumplings burst with juicy flavor. The pan fried beef dumplings texture and taste was wonderful and the pork belly melted in your mouth plus with the noodles and bok choy all in a savory broth. So glad we saw their ad and we will be back.
