Things to do in Frigate Bay
Happinezz is now the hotel restaurant at Mount Nevis Hotel, but it used to be Bombay Bites down on the coast at the end of the airfield. To me, Bombay Bites was the most beautiful relaxed sandy beach bar/restaurant in the world, with the most delicious Indian food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. In contrast to a sandy beach bar, Happinezz is very upscale-looking, very elegant and refined, and yet the prices don't seem to have gone up at all, and the food only seems to have gotten better! I would strongly recommend that anyone who comes to Happinezz order Indian dishes, as that is their cuisine, and they really do it superbly. We had an order of veggie samosas, which were truly heavenly -- large and crisp, thin-shelled and perfectly seasoned, and two vegetarian main dishes, one with cashews and one with mixed vegetables and they were equally wonderful. One of my friends had Dall Maharani, and that was insanely great. The menu is large and varied, but please don't bother to try ordering dishes from cuisines other than the Indian ones, it simply doesn't make sense to try other foods when the Indian food here is so sublime. Thanks a lot Invertpaleo for writing such a wonderful review for us! Though I am new here in this setup, I learnt about the Bombay Bites Beach Bar from this same group. It was amazing place and we were very successful there but two category 5 hurricanes in 2017 forced us to relocate at current place last year. Also looking to the international and diverse clientals of the Mount Nevis Resort, we have to change our name too as Bombay Bites sounds "only Indian"! As you rightly mentioned, our Indian/Asian dishes are very famous and in demand in our guests, but our Continental dishes are also delicious and well served. Especially since a new master chef has joined us! And as experienced by you, though the place is really up-scale (part of a 4-star resort), our prices are very much economical, thanks to effective management! We would love to serve you again and again with more enriching experience!

There's not a lot to recommend the port/capital city of St.Kitts, Basseterre, however there's a gem hiding amongst the bustling waterfront: Twist Lounge. Up a flight of stairs sharing a building with a cigar emporium and across from a mid-seedy casino, the Twist has a wide variety of decidedly unexpected dishes. We had the curried chicken and a seafood (fresh) stew. Both were very well presented and reminiscent of visits to top level Indian or far east bistros. Not the iguana soup you get in Bon Aire or the Red fish in Aruba, but a startling entree in the St.Kitts somewhat lack luster culinary efforts. We'd go back. Service seems a little lackadazical, but it's really just island time, man---prices are extremely reasonable considering you get a serious feast with the entrees.Kudos to the chef. It made St.Kitts a much more palatable stop on our recent journey through the eastern Caribbean.
What to do and see in Frigate Bay, St. Kitts and Nevis: The Best Places and Tips
The menu boasts of serving Thai, Mexican, Indian and other ethnic foods but they fail on quality and taste on all fronts. It may be a good place for a drink and an snack but the dinners we average at best. Prices and portion sizes are reasonable.
