Reviews on Chinese food in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, United States. Elk Grove Village is a village located in northeastern Illinois adjacent to O'Hare International Airport and is a near northwest suburb, touching the city of Chicago. It is one of the Chicago metropolitan area's principal villages due to its large industrial park, located on the eastern border of the village. The village is located primarily in Cook County with a small portion in DuPage County. The population was 33,127 at the 2010 census. As the name suggests, Elk Grove Village is home to a small herd of elk kept in a grove at the eastern edge of the Busse Woods forest preserve for which the grove is named. Elk are not native to the area but were brought by train from Montana by an early resident, William Busse, in the 1920s. The elk are currently maintained by the Chicago Zoological Society veterinary staff and the Busse Woods Forest Preserve wildlife biologists.

Went there on Easter Sunday and had some good food. Service was very good and the restaurant was somewhat busy. No waiting line so sat right down. Restaurant is very open and tends to make it very noisy as there are minimal walls for separation. Servers do an excellent job of covering all tables as they help one another. Runners are very efficient in coming out will full trays and serving dishes to several tables at a time. Nice to be able to order Dim Sum as well as normal dishes at the same time and all day long.
Each and every item of Panda Express is really good and hygienic...All items cooked in front of you and hot enough, you can carry it to your room, they provide a very good parcel option, If you are with child then must visit on Saturday.....

I flew back to visit my son and his family who live in Schaumburg. After they picked me up at O'Hare, my son suggested having dinner at Noodles Delight in Roselle as it is one of my youngest grandson's favorites. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and quickly shown to a table. As I browsed the menu I saw a picture of something that looked good but noted it was shown to be hot. I don't handle really spicy food too well so I asked the waitress if there was a similar dish without the hot spices. She said yes so I requested it. When it arrived the platter was heaped with a wonderful pile of Cantonese Noodles mixed with various meats and vegetables. Everyone at the table tried some of mine and liked it so well there wasn't a scrap left when the dinner was over! After flying from the west coast all day I was really thirsty too and the waitress kept a close eye on my beverage and made sure my glass was always topped off.It was an excellent meal with outstanding service! I look forward to eating there on my next visit!

Ma's is a wonderful Chinese Take Out choice! Whenever the two of us are running late and neither has a dinner plan, Ma's gets a call. Always realizable, always good, and always fits the budget. Thankfully it is very convenient & close. The owners are fantastic as well! It's nice to be able to support a family owned business. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

We've been ordering for delivery for at least 10 years now and although the food is good, the attitude with regards to friendliness leaves something to be desired. Well this was the last straw... I called this past Sunday at around 7:00, which they close at 9:00, to place an order for delivery and the man said we don't do deliveries. I said I've been ordering here for years and he said if you want delivery, it will be more than 11/2 hours rather rudely. I said no thanks and hung up... but things usually happen for the better. I heard of a place close by called Noodles and thought to give them a try. They were extremely friendly and prompt on delivery and when we tried the food, we were pleasantly surprised and even liked it better then Peapod. You lost a customer, maybe if you lose enough, you'll change your attitude but we're finished with you!!!

I have to say not everything in this buffet was bad but not enough was good to make me want to return. I normally do not eat at buffets but I do not mind them if they have some good things. The place was well kept for the most part except the washroom which was filthy. The food had some good but too much bad, greasy, and barely edible items.

This place is amazing. The food is outstanding. Absolutely love the Mermaid and Volcano rolls. The crispy honey flanked steak is super tasty. And one of my benchmark orders to compare to others is crab Rangoon. It is incredible. I'm surprised more people don't know about this place. With a plethora of food in the area and Schaumburg too, I could eat here everyday and skip everything else.

Never a bad meal. We've had take out from there for lunch many many times. I've taken friends there for lunch and for dinner, always spot on. Delicious~ Only issue is the TINY parking lot. Get there early or you will have to wait for parking space to open.

I'm familiar with this restaurant having visited there when I lived in the area. Was traveling, weather was kind of bad so I didn't want to venture out, so I used the delivery service. TOTALLY COOL! When you place your order, they supply live tracking from the time your order was received, to cooked, to out for deliver to delivered! And super accurate, showed up exactly on time! Had the chicken and veggie pot sticker combo and the peanut egg rolls, absolutely delicious! This may not be accurate, but I swear there was some cilantro sprinkled over the pot stickers. Sorry folks, I'm a cilantro hater! Don't like the taste and it gives me a tummy ache...I should have asked when I ordered to make sure there was no cilantro used in the recipe. Delivery guy was very prompt and courteous and thanked me for the tip. Would definitely order again if ever in the area!
