The building is an old Taco Bell Restaurant. You walk in and the décor is plain at best. The restaurant has a few tables.The gentleman who told me I could sit anywhere was also the waiter. He also answered the phone, cleaned the tables. He was the only server that I saw that evening.The noodle soup I ordered was very good and the portion was large. It was served hot. Picture included. The fried bread was different but good.I saw a small garden in the back of the parking lot. There was someone actually working in it as I walked out. Not sure what they were growing. I wished I would have asked if they used the food in this garden for the restaurant. I am guessing they do.The server was nice. Two young, children in the back of the restaurant playing and also having dinner. Guessing a family affair.No alcohol.I would gladly go back.

If your from the Elgin area you know there aren't any good sit down Chinese restaurants in the area. They all resemble cafeterias even though the food can be good. The Panda fits this category but their takeout food is delicious. We have eaten at the Panda several times and the food is always fresh and taste great. If your looking for great take out at a bargain price this place cannot be beat.

Have eaten lunch here several times. Food is decent, wide selection, good service and the prices seem reasonable. A very typical Chinese restaurant but overall pretty good.

4. Great Wall Chinese Restaurant

Basically a carry out chinese food restaurant. Just one table. Have daily lunch specials. Food just OK, Beef Szechuan not very spicy. Fried rice as part of lunch special not very tasty. Served food very quickly.
