Its a local seafood restaurant. Located at Jl. Piet A. Tallo Liliba, Kupang. Similar like other Seafood restaurant, it sells seafood menu such as roasted fish, crabs etc.
Excellent fresh grill red grouper fish. Good rica-rica sambal at side as I prefer the fish to be grilled with salt only. Good price too for such quality and taste. Looks like an iconic eating place in Kupang as many celebrity photos hung on wall.
We came here for dinner, watched the sun setting, ordered a few dishes from the menu. Ikan bakar permata, kangkung hot plate, beef hot plate, soup jagung asparagus. Love every dish especially the ikan bakar permata. They have their yummy special sauce, not the common general grilled fish out there. They have chinese tea! Which is a plus. I donât find it anywhere else in Waingapu.

After couple of days of having an adventurous food, well you need your stomach to be a bit normal. My choice of normal and standard food in Kupang is this restaurant. Located in Bay area they serve choices of Indonesian food and chinese food with standard taste (not too salty and not too spicy). Nice ambiance at dining, also they had live music (single organ) at night. The food price is also reasonable, they serve fresh sea food. Recommended for your family or couple.... do try the mung bean ice.
Cozy place
Eating out in Kupang can be unpredictable. What was excellent and available last week, may well be either garbage or just not on the menu this week. This happens All. The. Time. It is SO frustrating.Resto Waroenk however, is largely consistent. Yep, sometimes certain things aren't available still (that's Kupang), but I find it's much less of a proportion of the menu than most other places. And what they do serve is consistent, wholesome, good food. I have eaten in this place (either the one here or the one in Transmart) a dozen times, and probably only once walked away dis-satisfied. That's a good strike rate.Service is good too, and the prices are frankly amazing. It is cheap to eat here, considering it is a modern restaurant with decent food from a whole variety of cultures. Highly recommend this place.
