It is situated on the A47 road, about 15 miles (25 km) west of the city of Norwich and 25 miles (40 km) east of King's Lynn. The civil parish has an area of 21.51 km (8.31 sq mi) and in the 2001 census had a population of 15,659 in 6,941 households, the population at the 2011 Census increasing to 18,609. For the purposes of local government, Dereham falls within, and is the centre of administration for, the district of Breckland. The town should not be confused with the Norfolk village of West Dereham, which lies about 25 miles (40 km) away.

Myself and the family have used this Chinese takeaway for the last few years almost every week and cannot fault anything. The food is of high quality and very tasty. The portions are a good size and I feel that considering these points the price is very reasonable. They are always happy to deliver and is always fresh and hot. Well done Rising Noodle. It is rare to find a takeaway that I truly would recommend to everyone. Keep up the good work.

Whenever we visit the grandparents we have a Chinese take away and these days that is Hong Kong City. This time the food was nice and tasty, having made sure in advance that some previous mistakes were not repeated. Probably the biggest thing to look out for is that some of the food can be quite spicy. Ask in the order for the mild version if that is an issue.

Our first time trying these as they are slightly more 'out of the way' than the other chinese restaurants. When we have chinese it really is a treat and it is nice to have something special. The set meal for 2 (B2) really did fit the bill and it certainly tasted a cut above the others. We will definitely be using this chinese again - friendly people too!

When we want a Chinese takeaway we always use China Dynasty. Never had a bad meal from them. But if you are eating on a Saturday night make sure you order by phone first or you will be in for a long wait. Staff always very friendly

Popped in on the spur of the moment, we wasnât told weâd be sitting there nearly an hour or weâd have left, the lad was trying his best ,but really this isnât acceptable, and the food was big Standard British Chinese, sadly not on my list for the future
