Just returned from an evening at The Forum Restaurant with 11 friends. Despite being a large party the service was friendly and efficient. The food which included choices for our group from a mixture of the early bird menu and the a la carte menu was hot, tasty and presented well. A thoroughly good evening enjoyed by all and a restaurant we can highly recommend.

We have been to this restaurant several times recently (sept 2018 to present) and have also made use of their take away service. The surroundings are not luxurious, however, they are of a pleasant, good standard and comfortable. The food is well presented and delicious. We have never been disapointed either eating in or take away. We had not been to this restaurant for many years as I had been avoiding chinese food altogether as I always seemed to get a bad headache afterwards, however, no headache from this restaurant!! This restaurant is certainly worth a visit for single diners to large parties. I am glad we gave it a try after so many years. This is now our only place for eating Chinese food!!

I have ordered food from here several times, first time was nice and next couple of times it got steadily worse, final time last week was absolutely disgusting and we wont be ordering again, the food was full of gristle, even the chicken was like rubber and we order quite a few dishes from here, the sweet and sour is just chicken balls thrown in the sauce, they were not cooked in the sauce just thrown on top not even covered. For the amount of money we spent i would expect decent food. Very poor and ended up in the bin. Won't be wasting my money on this take away again.

Always friendly staff , nicer of the Chinese food places around here with nicer meet cuts and good portion sizes, a Littlemore expensive than some other places but you pay for what you get , I always have special demands like no peas and such and the staff always get it right , clean place and you can see your good being cooked and prepared so I always know it's clean and hygienic, fast service everytime

i ordered a takeaway from here on saturday night just before opening time and was told it would be half an hour , surprisingly it arrived within 15 minutes ... i had ordered salt and pepper chicken which usually comes in batter , however this was just slices of slimy chicken with no batter shoved in with a load of onions ! it tasted awful and we couldn't even work out what dish it was supposed to be for a few minutes . we also ordered some salt and pepper ribs which were covered in hard batter with chewy , stale meat underneath . the black bean sauce had an unappealing smell and taste and as for the salt and pepper chips , they are usually good from here but tonight they were rock hard with no flavour !! would not order from here again , awful meal
