This is a big, well-known and popular chain of hotpot restaurants, and one has finally opened in Changsha. We went on the Sunday evening of a busy May Day weekend, and we knew we would likely have to wait for a bit. But the wait was easy and worth it.First, the wait: They know they are popular, and they know there will be a wait, and so they cater for it! Fantastic! There are small tables with three or four stools at each. There are a couple of wait staff dedicated to the waiting area. They provide lemon water or plum juice, and there is hot water as well for those who want it. They bring you small trays of nibbles as well, and there is even a pot of Chinese porridge. You can select from games (I saw families playing Chinese chess, Chinese checkers), and you can even get your shoes shined (as I did) or your nails done while you wait! Then we finally got to our table, and there is a good wide range of broths to choose from. You can have two, which we did - a mushroom-based non-spicy broth for me, and a HOT chilli one for my hosts. They love hot pot, but after a while even they thought that the chilli broth was very spicy. The split pot is brought out and set on the heating element embedded in the middle of the table, and the heat was turned on. We had a range of meats, baby octopus, vegetables, and so on. So much good food! And you get to make up your individual dipping sauce in small bowls from the self-service table. The service was probably the best of the lot, and the wait staff are even performers! One of them did a small piece from a Peking opera, and if you order the special noodles, one of the staff comes and does this wonderful performance making your noodles at your table. I highly recommend that! All in all, a great place that is entertaining as well as filling.

Had great lobsters there, it's a very popular lobster restaurant for everyone who craves them) They had small crayfish types and mid-sized ones. For me, because I liked there a lot, I ordered especially big sized lobsters!)) They are about 2.5 kilos each! Live of course, from the South China Sea) Very rare and good! Of course, it cost a lot too: 200 yuan for a kilo! Go figure the price.

Best place to get authentic Changsha local food, while watching Chinese opera at the same time from the restaurant looking out, in the evenings. This place is in the busiest part of Changsha city center, so after eating can go for shopping, and the stretch of bars is close by too. Many small stores are opened till late at night.

Our group's gala banquet was held there. We also had a stage show, I think for us. (and others dining on the 2nd and 3rd floors overlooking the stage. The food? Well, we sat at a eight person round tables with a large glass lazy susan in the center. Water, orange juice (good stuff!) beer, and of course, tea was the beverages offered. There must have been at least 10/12 or 15 courses. Our group, for the most part, didn't really know what we were eating, but with enough hot sauce and beer, most of it was good. The staff was good about bringing more when desired to us.

We decided to try as weâve heard a lot of good comments about this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were meet and greet by Cindy and got escorted to a designated table facing an amazing view. She gave good recommendations, including the double boiled soup, rice and noodles. We will definitely come back again!
