Multi Cuisine Restaurant serving Indian Chinese and Continental Dishes and Fully Loaded Bar serving Indian and Foreign Liquor. A must visit place for families, get together and celebrations.
Went to the place for a mid week lunch with few office colleagues during my visit to Chandigarh. Parking was easy to find. Ambience was quite decent and got a table easily. Coming to food, we tried out the Vegetarian lunch buffet. They served 4 starters and all were good. All in all a decent place.

Kylin Experience is situated close to the elevators on the topmost floor of Elante Mall (this floor is where the bulk of the mallâs restaurants are situated). What struck me at first about this restaurant was its spaciousnessâitâs really large, and has an elegant ambience dominated by black and red, with striking red lampshades hanging from the ceiling, and screens of shelves separating areasâeach shelf holding large porcelain bowls in red, cream, black, etc. Stylish. The menu is a mix of East Asian cuisines, from Japanese (sushi, teppenyaki, etc) to Chinese (lots of dimsums, soups, and so on), and some others as well. Thereâs a full bar, plus a selection of non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. Since none of us were very hungry, we decided to stick to just two main courses to share between the three of usâmy husband, I and our five-year daughter. Conveniently enough, Kylin offers some good meal-in-a bowl options, so we settled for one of theseâthe Gangam Bowlâas one main course. For the other, we ordered a teppenyaki dish: sake marinated chicken with broccoli and teriyaki sauce. Both dishes included sticky rice. For drinks, my daughter asked for a fresh lime soda and I ordered a mandarin and basil delight. Our drinks arrived fairly early. The mandarin and basil drink was lovely, lots of crushed ice, orange juice and plenty of basil. Very refreshing. The fresh lime soda, to our daughterâs disappointment, turned out to have rock salt (kaala namak) instead of regular salt, and there was a chaat-like taste which she didnât like at all. This was closer to a shikanjvi than a fresh lime soda. We asked for it to be replaced, specifying that we wanted a fresh lime soda and not this. It was replaced, but the replacement didnât taste any different. The two main courses took about twenty minutes to arrive. The Gangam Bowl (I think that should have been âGangnamâ, given that this dish was listed as being a Korean bulgogi bowl) consisted of a fried garlic sticky rice, accompanied by shredded lamb. Alongside was a small serving of what looked like cabbage kimchi, and some fresh sliced cucumbers. At the time of ordering this, weâd checked that it would not be too spicy, since our child wouldnât be able to handle much spice. We were assured that it would be low to medium spice, but what we got was pretty high in spiceâat least enough to prevent our daughter from eating it. What we thought was cabbage kimchi turned out to be regular Chinese pickled cabbage: nice, but not fermented, and not kimchi at all. This dish wasnât terrible, but it was a little disappointing. The teppenyaki dish, on the other hand, was delicious. The sake-marinated chicken was tender and juicy, the teriyaki sauce was fabulous, and there was a generous garnish of sesame seeds. The helping of sticky rice that came with this was rather more interesting, too: it had been stir-fried with vegetables and soy sauce. We paid Rs 1880 for our meal, plus a gratuity.

A family restaurant with a nice ambiance. Food tastes great and they serve authentic Chinese food. I would recommend it for Non-vegetarian people as they have a good range of dishes. Being a vegetarian I didn't found many options but still whatever I ordered, it tasted great.

Lately been to this amazing place for a chinese buffet. The chef had revamped the menu altogether. And believe me youu it was one of the best chinese i had. Everything was just on point with amazing flavours. So its strated with a chicken, mushroom carrot beans and coriander soup which was amazing. Then followed by a water chestnut, bell pepper and cucumber salad which was great too. Now coming to appetizers i had crispy corns, crispy chongquing chilli chicken, stir friend lamb, batter fried calamari and, salt and pepper prawn. All were delectable however I loved the calamari and lamb the most. Highly recommeneded these two.Below is the list of things i tried in maincourse along with their ratings⢠Caramelised onion fried rice - 5/5⢠Veg hakka noodles- 4/5⢠Chicken fried rice- 4.5/5⢠Shredded lamb , bell pepper and chilli.- 5/5⢠Trio of mushroom, butter and black pepper sauce-4/5⢠Stir fried fish, fresh chilli oyester sauce- 5/5⢠Stir fried schezwan style slicked chicken-5/5⢠Xiao xiang pepper fried pork, pok choy and leeks -5/5Everything was just way too scrumptious, it just i loved the pork and fish the most. And now the best part, Dessert. So there was like wide a variety of dessert almost 20 types of dessert was there. Which made me go ga ga over it. Loved it like anything.
